Gwadar another Dubai emerging on world map: Chinese media

That's not how it works bhai... Chabahar trade will be confined to Iran and Central Asia - meanwhile Gwadar will be in the center of Chinese-International trade and thus will be exposed to a much larger, vibrant, active and growing market. We'll most likely see active trade and cooperation between Chabahar and Gwadar as the Central Asian countries would love to be a part of this trade route.

Exactly, but for now Gwadar will only be a Chinese alternate route in case Strait of Malacca is blocked in future, as china is continuously heating up SCS.
With Chabahar, Pakistan looses the leverage it has on Afghanistan trade. China doesn't need Afghanistan or Pakistan to reach central Asia, but Pakistan needs it. Also all the other countries that would like to trade with central Asia.
And if Afghanistan doesn't corporate once chabahar is done. Which is more likely as per how Afghanistan is behaving these days,It would be difficult to make CPEC profitable for Pakistan.

Lets come to Chabahar now, though it doesn't enjoy the see depth as Gawadar enjoys, but it can be fixed ,and it is much easier for Central Asia and Russia to access it as it has less logistic and geopolitical, and security challenges.
Chabahar trade will not be confined to Central Asia, It further connects to Russia and Europe too

In short, why would some one like to take a longer route which might have safety issues, has to pass through high passes and also the number of countries also increase therefore Increase bureaucracy fusss...

CPEC is a very good indicative if it is successful. and i really wish it happens for Pakistan. That will lead in stabilizing the region.

and yet you had to fart your way to this thread.
Why don't you keep washing your Essar and Adanis owned ports in milk and stroking their godly parts ?

The F are you doing here ?
Ohhhh I forgot that amny idiots want to see the Dubai in some primary facility equipped Port. I forgot for a while that breaking a Zihadi wishful dream can be dangerous. I apologize.

.
 This is going to fall flat on the pakistanis so badly, that when it does, I won't be able to contain my laughter anymore. The Pakistanis seem to be very reliant, especially with China, when if you think about it, barely did squat. They were absent in the past when Pakistan needed them the most, at most all they did was offer support which came in the form of sweet words. Keep trusting the drones. I mustn't speak good of my enemy, but the only way you will prosper is to take your own destiny by the steer, not ride passenger.

indians said exactly the same and more when China helped Pakistan become a nuclear weapons state with the ability to indigenously produce advanced missiles. The Chinese not only helped Pakistan when we were at our most vulnerable and in our deepest hour of need, they then gave us the ability to also indigenously produce H-bombsand thermonuclear weapons:

http://isis-online.org/isis-reports...g-nuclear-weapons-time-for-pakistan-to-rever/

Anything an indian ever says against Pakistan is never true in reality. Just like when Pakistan become the world's 1st ever Muslim nuclear weapons state in May 1998, if the Chinese (who are 1 of the world's 2 ONLY superpowers set to become the world's 1st ever global hyperpower) says that Gwadar will become another Dubai then the reality is that in all probability it will. Though it may take a lot of time. That will happen no matter what our enemies say or do.

Exactly, but for now Gwadar will only be a Chinese alternate route in case Strait of Malacca is blocked in future, as china is continuously heating up SCS.

CPEC is not just about Gwadar. That is a small part of it. CPEC primarily is about the massive huge world class infrastructure projects going on all over Pakistan (which I can confirm is already happening from my recent trip to Pakistan 2 months ago) and about ultimately integrating the Pakistani economy with that of western and central China.

As far as Afghanistan is concerned, if Pakistan seals it border with Afghanistan and let's nothing in or out, it will suffer a fate far worst than Somalia or Ethiopia. That too with access to Chabahar port. The Afghans are painfully aware of that fact.

Absolutely Correct, Gawadar is the main node for Chinese, rest is nearly 17% assured guarantee return from GOP, If I am not mistaken.

Pakistan can seal it's borders with a Big if, as it will require a very strong political will and economic might to do that and maintain the seal.... But it is easy for Afghanistan to block access to central Asia.

Afghanistan will not suffer anything like Somalia or Ethiopia That's the same assumption World had for Pakistan after Nuclear test. Isn't it. ?

.
This is undoubtedly true even though in Pakistan we have civilian leadership who are trying the policy of appeasement. Appeasement is not going to work because when one side is only interested in conflict there can be no peace.

That doesn't make much sense to me. Gwadar is a Pak China venture and initially it needs to be managed by the Chinese. Once the port starts operating and showing its true potential we can start thinking about internationalizing it. Until then, we need to take one step at a time. India is out of the question though.
Well atleast part of what you said is true.. How can there be better relations when Pakistan is bent on involving in the internal affairs of India and keen on promoting terrorism..

.
You forgot to add the interstate journey on donkey.

Not a donkey sonny, a horse made of light traveling at the speed of light.

now you will google -> Relativity and find out, why speed of light is so very important in long distance travel and time approaching zero.

.
It seems ok..
Actually it was so ok that Modi got nervous and had to travel to the US and ask for a security pact with the the latter,, So now no one can say that india the US and its offspring Usrael weren't involved in Pakistan's internnal affairs..

I was talking about internal security situation in Pakistan, as well as political stability, investors look for these things before starting an 'Olympic championship' for FDI.

Pakistan doesn't really need access to Central Asia. It would be nice if we could but not necessary. If Afghanistan’s fate and dependency on Pakistan is not so severe and possibly fatal, then why are there millions upon millions of legal and illegal Afghans residing in Pakistan? A nation which they apparently strongly dislike? It's not as if they are flocking in their millions to nations that they do like. Afghans are in MY country. We are not in theirs. That fact is very telling. That reality is excruciatingly painful for Afghan patriots/nationalists.

That is of no consequence or matter as far as CPEC and the Pakistan China relationship is concerned. As someone who has just come back from holiday in Pakistan 2 months ago, I can confirm the ground reality that there are massive world class infrastructure projects going on all over Pakistan right now. With more set to come. This is something that many people said was impossible just 18 months ago. Just as the world (especially indians) said it was impossible for Pakistan to become a nuclear weapons state with or without Chinese assistance, we made that impossibility become a reality. Now with CPEC and other programs, we will make the reality of Pakistan becoming a developed nation within 20-30 years. Just as in May 1998, so is now.

Truly Said, and I totally agree with the pressure it has on Pakistan as a complete state, including economic as well as security. That's why i said before, To seal the border a mighty political will is required. Afgans dislike because they think it's because of Pakistan there country is in the state of hell (they might be right or wrong it's another question). and they have been forced to migrate to Pakistan. And now they are sensing a forced reverse cycle.

Pakistan do need access to central Asia to make CPEC successful. only an alternate route to China will not make in positive for ROI. Cost of electricity would be too high from these projects. Cost of maintenance will be too high if Central Asian link is not activated.

The success of CPEC depends a lot on the development and unleashing the world class economic potential of Western China. Coupled with Chinese military strategic gains in Gwadar/Indian Ocean. Central Asian participation in CPEC although ideal is not really necessary. The only other nation that can boost Pakistan's economy and CPEC is Turkey. Turkish participation could be another game changer for Pakistan. Not through any "routes" or "corridors" but through Turkish TOT, investments, industrial & manufacturing assistance. Although it is already happening, Turkish activity needs to be increased to Chinese levels in Pakistan.
