Gujarat does a double! Why can't India under the 'visionary' NaMo.

Anyone having hate and antipathy towards Modi - based on what happened 9 years ago in Gujrat are living in the past and have outdated views . Modi has done a lot for the minorities in Gujrat since- as per the sachar commission

no one will mention that!! but.. unsavoury incident of nine years ago will be revisited time & again by those political opertunists to mask their own shortcomings!! as long people keep knocking modi down for what happened nine years ago.. everything is working well in a perfect democracy!! moment someone sarts praising him.. modi suddenly becomes this yukky untouchable kinda person!! hypocrisy at its best!!

If development has to come at such a high price, then i don't want this development. India needs to grow, but at the same time our growth needs to be calculated and deliberate. We need good men at the helm.....not just efficient ones.

What's the High price BTW?? Ok i got it 1lack 76thousand crore Rs. of 2G, or 40,000Crore Rs. of CWG or 2lack crore Rs. Of S-Band, or Rs.68/litre petrol or Rs.210/Injection of Simple Acetaminophen..!! What is the price gujratis are paying for the development after 2002?? WAKE UP DUDE..!

Bcoz BJP alone won't able get the majority and NDA partners won't allow NAMO to be PM for political reasons.

no political parties in our country has fixed morals, eithics or loyalty!! they are all opertunists!

..and a few examples of those good men/women?

Karunanidhi?
Manmohan Singh? (the I-didn't-know PM)
Rahul baba?
Diggy Raja?
Mayawati?
Shibu Soren?
Lalu?
Mulayam?

Modi is not perfect but he is the best we have got.

oh and BTW, you can say this "I don't want such development" dialogue because you are not the one facing the brunt of this lack of development.

Go and ask a tribal in Orissa who has never even seen a train or a child in Rajasthan who doesn't get enough water to drink and you will have your answer.

Nice Answer.. :)

Yes. Even if BJP gets majority I seriously doubt that he will get support of the party to become PM. They have many more national level leaders vying for the post.

How can you be so sure ? This time after all the corruption scandals the entire Indian middle class is likely to favor BJP ....One or two south Indian partners like Jaya etc will not care about vote-bank politics , only about getting a few portfolios for AIADMK in the cabinet . Most other states from Orissa , to Bihar, to Karnataka have BJP loyalists .....and the Left or Trinamool will never join up with NDA and BSP seems unlikely too.

BJP has a greater share of seats in the NDA than congress has with the UPA and therefore they have greater clout.

People still use bofors to beat congress, remember, and anti sikh riots too.
Gujrat is too recent incident compared to that.

Remember NDA survived because of Vajpayee who towered over the rest. Also they appointed George Fernades as convener who could bring people together.
Modi as PM candidate will not get you any partner to begin with, you have better luck with Sushma Swaraj.

Modi is not democratic. Being elected through democracy does not guarantee that you are democratic in you approach.
He takes a CEO like approach when running state administration, it may work at state level but at center you need somebody who can bring people together.
And a lot of credit should go to gujjus themselves for being industrious, Modi or not they would have developed anyway.

Accha?????

Yet , that does not prevent sikhs from voting for them or any of our common people from voting them to power....In politics everything is fair game and we look for the best deal . Similar rules apply in case of the BJP too.

Have you seen what happened when they wanted Sajjan Kumar to fight election. People may forgive party but not individuals.
