And what is Hindus eating meat?
Or are Hindus "flexatarians" when it is convenient for them?
Alcohol is not the issue. Pakistanis drink in Pakistan as well, but I have not met a single Muslim in the US nor Pakistan that loves to eat Pork.
Meanwhile, I know Hindus that love to eat meat which includes big macs from Mcdonalds.

That's one hundred percent cow in that meat patty.
In general i don't people have problem with vegetarians, but it can not be said the same vice versa. About the thing you said in India that I can believe though. Both are mutually exclusive..eventhough vegeterians in India are not like the ones in the west and to my experience doesn't try to impose their beliefs on you.
I am an atheist, and to top it all, a Bengali. And what is Hindus eating meat?
Or are Hindus "flexatarians" when it is convenient for them?
Yes, but why do a lot of them still masquerade around as an orthodox Hindu upholding Vedic principles, when they really don't?
I really didn't get your point?
Explain what importance vegetarianism holds in Hinduism. Also explain why it holds no importance at all.
Then tell me if it is not contradictory.
I agree with you, there are some people who are hypocritic about their religion, they claim to be following it but actively break those rules in the religion. Personally I dont care, because I feel every one is a free person that can make his/her choices on how to live their life.
Also, not all Hindus are vegetarian, only certain sub-groups like Brahmins and Indian Jains are (I think some Indian Buddhists are veg too). But I have known some North Indian Brahmins that eat Chicken Biryani, Bengali Brahmins that eat fish, South Indian Brahmins that eat chicken, etc.

Boning part I don't see the problem if there is nothing illegal, but since when does eating meat become illegal though?
WTF has eating a cheese burger gotta do with making India a 'Hindu Republic'? Many Hindus are voracious eaters of meat - chicken and goat! I have to gorge this non veg stuff DAILY or I throw a fit and sink into deep depression!!India should already declare itself a Hindu Republic...
Buddy while living in the US I've even seen Brahmins eating beef/steak. That may be a different story compared to India, however I don't think there are any restrictions within the newer generations especially among the urban youth. Just my two cents.
I did not say human are carnivore, but rather I said human are predators. There is a reason why human are on top of the food chain. Its not illegal maan, The argument is Human are omnivore and some chinese fellow said they are carnivore. Theres a difference. rite.
Agreeed bro. I am "supposed" to be from a Brahmin family, but I do enjoy the occasional Peperroni Pizza or a well cooked steak myself
