So I would like to know from the people who got previously banned on PDF about their experiences

1) Why were you banned?

2) For how long?

3) Did you know why you were banned and how long? How did you know that?

4) What was your reaction?

5) How was you life without PDF when you were banned?

!) For pissing off some Pakistani and Chinese members. Specially Chinese who cannot tolerate sarcastic comments.
2)First two one week each and then 3 or six months....I cannot remember.
3)Yeah, suddenly in one fine morning your account does not work...nor you can log off.
4)Just grin. And proceed to open up another account (they also know that)
5)Nothing.....Life as usual...Well I am active in IDF also, but it is boring with no trolling!!

I have been banned quite a few times. Many times given negative ratings. Sometimes for no obvious reasons. Ab aadat ho gayi hai. You are in a Pakistani forum. Some mods here are biased and can give negative ratings at the drop of hat. One day you will see that you are not able to log on.

Dont worry. Spend that time in doing some good work. Spend time with your friends and family. 2 weeks will pass like whiff of air.

PS: You can still browse PDF like a non member and know whats happening around.

I feel sometimes people are immature by reporting others very fast and giving negative rating only if it's religion or some real sensitive topic we can report or give negative rating. Personally for me this place is for MATURE guys and Facebook is for Teen thinking people saw i hope you won't get

At the end of the day It is their forum and their prerogative.

You are lucky you have been warned, most of us get banned without notification.
One good reason would be for starting a silly thread like this one.

It is a totally unfair system. I have seen people hurl abuse and insults and nothing happens.

I made the mildest of comments and got a warning. I think it's simply a case of whether somebody reports you or not.

@Windjammer that's strange I got a warning about a year ago and it said you have two more warnings before you get banned. I guess it's what you say that determines the punishment.

I was banned once.

I have never got any infraction. They say they follow 3 infraction rule but seems some mod bye pass that when they are irked by what you said but they know an infraction may not be justified, so they go for an extrajudicial killing.

An outright ban is justified in case of harassment, personal hardcore abuse or any other very serious offence but then it should lead to permanent ban, not like 7 or 14 days ban.

@WebMaster should look into it. Someone just don't want to be accounted in the books of system.
