Getting banned on PDF

It is a totally unfair system. I have seen people hurl abuse and insults and nothing happens.

I made the mildest of comments and got a warning. I think it's simply a case of whether somebody reports you or not.

I do not have anything against PDF or its management. In fact I believe they have been reasonably fair to me.

some mods are more agressive than others

I do think a good mix is needed for balance.

I have been warned that I would be banned shortly.

So I would like to know from the people who got previously banned on PDF about their experiences

1) Why were you banned?

2) For how long?

3) Did you know why you were banned and how long? How did you know that?

4) What was your reaction?

5) How was you life without PDF when you were banned?

etc. etc

1.) Racist comments against the Chinese members, despite the some of the Chinese members post comments that are clearly racist in nature and even comments that are warmongering and something along the line "we will nuke you". A recent ban did appear to bypass the "three-strike" rule.

2.) Usually two-four weeks.

3.) Ask a certain mod, he knows the answer. Also, I only know when I accessed this website, only to be met with a notice that I have been banned and the ban will be lifted on a specific date.
