All the major news publications do apologize for the mistakes in publication.. May be not it Pakistan but thats a standard practice everywhere else. I don't know why you people are trying to read too much into it.. More over this is again sounding like you people are trying to find the reasons to justify killings..why did they need to apologise for some printing error
Where as Muslims have always been violent. Right from your inception you started killing innocent people in the name of religion. You did it to middle-eastern non Muslims like jews, yezdis, you did it to persians, you did it to hindus/Buddhists and on top of it you are doing it even today. Is there a end to this thirst of Islamists? Will u people ever change?and some times not so silent.
There is a line between mockery and down right anti-Semitism. I have seen Charlie Hebdo's cartoons mocking jews. But I haven't seen any mocking Holocaust. Just like I haven't seen any cartoons mocking the plight of Afghans. Nor did I see any cartoons calling for attacks against Muslims. I suppose that is because creative people do not write or draw to offend, but to have fun and criticize, whatever fun means to them. For most people, there is no fun in simply mocking the subjects of a genocide.Nah, anti-semitic cartoons are generally not published here. (Its very sensitive issue) In 2006, Iran arranged a competition where cartoons mocking Jews and holocaust were published. How Western media treated this event goes as follows:
Muslims have every right to criticize that german newspapers editorial policy and not buy that paper. That way the freedom of speech of all parties is preserved in a fair manner.
Its THAT easy really.
does yr white masters agree with this definition of yrs?Freedom of speech does not mean that every publication be even handed at all times. Every place has its own editorial policy. If somebody disagrees, let them create their own publication and they have the freedom to do so. That is freedom of speech.
i agree, muslims have a right to also deny holocaust?, opps sorry what did i just say
Hitler's Germany killed 6m Jews. So joking abt that is in poor taste anywhere, especially in Germany
Yes they do have that in most countries. And where they do not have it, they have the right to openly criticize that law, lobby for changing it, voting for it etc.
I hope they can change those laws, if its so important for them in a democratic way.
The problem with the "Muslim world" is that they are always trying to find fault with others, what's the point? We all know that the world is not perfect, and everybody including the Muslims have the right to feel offended, the right to peaceful protest without breaking the law of the land, and the right to seek legal help. But running around and killing unarmed civilians on streets and in schools and in offices and in markets is not the acceptable way of response, this is not middle ages.
And such heinous acts are being done almost everyday in some part of the world by the radical Muslims, and being supported/justified by the moderate Muslims, and then people wonder why Islam is being demonized, why the generalization? Everything is happening in the name of Islam to begin with, and they are being supported/justified in the name of Islam by the Musalman.
It's already too late to change the situation, but at least try.
sorry but at one time you talk about freedom of speech, and then where there is no freedom of speech you talk about changing laws in a democratic way to give that freedom of speech
what hypocracy?
