German paper publishes, "in error", an anti-Semitic cartoon - apologizes!

. . . .
The newspaper apologized because the cartoon was not a Charlie Hebdo cover. They did not apologize because it was anti-Semitic. Read the article properly.

And what @Syed.Ali.Haider said was right. It is unreasonable to call out press outlets especially cartoons and tabloids for omission. Freedom of speech only means they are free to criticize whoever they want by their editorial policy. They need not distribute their rants and criticisms among all communities.

The problem with the "Muslim world" is that they are always trying to find fault with others, what's the point? We all know that the world is not perfect, and everybody including the Muslims have the right to feel offended, the right to peaceful protest without breaking the law of the land, and the right to seek legal help. But running around and killing unarmed civilians on streets and in schools and in offices and in markets is not the acceptable way of response, this is not middle ages.

And such heinous acts are being done almost everyday in some part of the world by the radical Muslims, and being supported/justified by the moderate Muslims, and then people wonder why Islam is being demonized, why the generalization? Everything is happening in the name of Islam to begin with, and they are being supported/justified in the name of Islam by the Musalman.

It's already too late to change the situation, but at least try.

@rubyjackass

Let them have their moment for bashing the west and it's assumed hypocrisy towards muslims for a while...screw logic.

They don’t have to there intelligent enough to do it with other means. Which is something we Muslims can learn from.
There are calls for jews in Europe to carry guns for self protection against lone wolf islamist attacks...so you never know...

i think you should stop generalizing, that was my point
I was not generalizing. I was just stating the fact and was to the point. This is what @Norwegian said..
What? So that's it? You are free to insult "feelings" and "sentiments" of 1.6 billion Muslims but not 14 million Jews? Is this the practical definition of Western 'freedom of speech' aka. hypocrisy and double-standards? Well, good luck with that! :D
This is what I said in reply...
This is obviously offensive to jews. But...do you see any jew shouting the name of god and going on a killing spree?
Now..where is the generalization?

It's hard reading the whole article and the real facts when you're busy being outraged. Those crocodile tears impare vision.

generalising is when you indirectly say that muslims are on killing spree because the paper insulted there religion, in the same way i can generalise that jews kill in the name of god too, which they are doing in palestine?

so essentially there should be no difference at all

my point is, neither the killers in paris represent islam, nor the jews in israel on killing spree against palestinians represent the jewish community entirely

Seriously? Ok here is another source for the same news:
BERLIN – A German newspaper has apologized for mistakenly publishing a fake Charlie Hebdo cover that featured an anti-Semitic cartoon on its front page the day after the French publication was attacked last week.

The daily Berliner Zeitung featured four real Charlie Hebdo covers on its front page Jan. 8, along with a fake one depicting what appears to be an Orthodox Jew making a quip about the Holocaust. The cover carried the name "Charlo Hebdo" — one of the clues it was a fake.

The Berliner Zeitung said Thursday it "failed to recognize that one of the cartoons was a fake" and offered its "profoundest personal apologies for this highly regrettable mistake."

It said it had posted a correction in Friday's paper acknowledging that it mistakenly printed an anti-Semitic cartoon.
