By producing nukes a nation enlarges its chances of survival, partly the reason why Pakistan sought nukes as it knew it could not beat India conventionally (at least currently)

what you say was what was also said by north korea in 2011... they scolded gaddafi and the jamahiriya for dismantling the nuclear weapons program and even the chemical weapons program.

gaddafi was naive in dealing with the western goverments.
