Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

TBH, some of the most effective operations were carried under his watch.
Sure!
Taliban setup was toppled in 2 months in Afghanistan in 2001 (Operation Enduring Freedom),
then the Taliban kicked out NATO 21 years later..
and Al-Qaeda setup was defeated in Tora Bora mountains in 2 months in Afghanistan in 2002 (Operation Anaconda).
Only to bounce back decades later as a more matured and potent Global Islamist terrorist group.
Saddam regime was toppled in 1 month in Iraq in 2003 (Operation Iraqi Freedom), and a powerful Iraqi insurgent group was defeated in Fallujah in 2 months in 2004 (Operation Phantom Fury).
Only for that insurgency to continue for at least 6+ more years and US was never able to completely squash.
Bush was a fearsome figure in his day.
US and its power was also alot stronger back then. Bush started 2 stupid warts that drained US for decades.
His dad was competent in the art of war as well (Operation Desert Storm).
Feels like a long time ago.

While this is accurate, it's laughable to think bush w was a competent strategist and leader. Everyone in America will tell you that he started a decades long folly that cost America dearly and achieved no useful strategic aim. in fact it distracted America for decades and it is now facing huge challenges. Yeah, Americans will not be taking his advice.

I welcome the Israelis to take it. They can make him their leading strategist.

When Bush was in power?

You are forgetting something:

"The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan reaffirms its continued commitment not to cooperate with or permit international terrorist groups or individuals to recruit, train, raise funds (including through the production or distribution of narcotics), transit Afghanistan or misuse its internationally-recognized travel documents, or conduct other support activities in Afghanistan, and will not host them."

This wasn't an instrument of surrender but the "demand" in 2001 only for Taliban to reject it at the time.

21 years later, Taliban accepted the "demand" and the current Biden administration concluded the war on this note.

Only to bounce back decades later as a more matured and potent Global Islamist terrorist group.
The Al-Qaeda Network? Where do you see it?

Only for that insurgency to continue for at least 6+ more years and US was never able to completely squash.
Iraq was stabilized and looked fine in 2011.

But bad elements in Syria and Iraq plunged the country back to war.

So a new operation was launched to clear these elements and stabilize Iraq. It looks fine now.

Unfortunate, but Muslims should learn to fight terrorists instead of running big mouths. Which Islamic country defeated terrorists by the way?

US and its power was also alot stronger back then. Bush started 2 stupid warts that drained US for decades.

US has become a bigger economy and has better tools of war in the present. You need to catch up with times, friend.

All those thanking your posts should take notes.

Accept facts and not BS. The reason that you not see terrorists blowing up buildings and people in the US because US has done a good job in this matter. You have no idea who is who among immigrants pouring in.

The problem was not with waging wars. It was with the much taunted 'Nation Building' projects. U.S. was innocent/ignorant those days in the belief that somehow God has endowed all people with a desire to rule themselves under a Jeffersonian democracy. Nation after nation disabused us of that stupidity. Modern U.S. is no longer that old evangelist for democracy. We are more accommodative of 'Different strokes for different folks' view now.

That's why Israel is scared to start its ground offensive! Israel seems to be unable to fight actively on 2 fronts- it can barely enter Gaza, which automatically means it cannot handle same scenario against Hezbollah in northern Israel.

You sure about that. If hizbollah joins the war, israel and Usa aircrafts will use heavy bombing and destroy Lebanon. If Israel is in trouble they will use ballistic missiles at Lebanon cities. What answer does Lebanon have? Their army didn't help Hizbollah during 2007 war, their government is Saudi puppets meaning Israeli puppet. The Arabs should have invested and trained their militaries. Only Egypt is strong enough to take the lead.

Israelis need Palestinians so they can use them to get sympathy and free support from west.
If arabs leave Palestine then Israel will have no one to blame their victimhood on.
Their lying tongue will turn to west who will have no choice but to abandon Israel.

Israel is a European problem pushed on to arabs. Arabs should either fight them or move away giving them all land that they want.

Bolded part: Absolutely wrong!!! WTH?? The sensibilities of the modern world plus trade/commerce potentials with the richer part of the Arab world prevented Americans from totally unleashing their attack dog against the Palestinians otherwise Israelis would have gladly wanted Palestinians gone on or even before 1948.

Which leads me to post this video by Kim Iverson below; I have been a fan of her since the beginning of the Covid crisis where she, boldly and against the grain then, proposed an alternative explanation--the Natural Immunity one and got a lot of flak for that--then she took up the cause to challenge the prevalent narrative about the Russia-Ukraine war. And lately she has morphed into a champion for the Palestinians! A short video which explains why Egypt is not, and should not, accept the Palestinians fleeing Gaza.

Here is the incomparable Kim!

The only option is for Egyptian or a coalition force to enter Gaza and control the borders and Israeli access. There needs to be a rival as the USSR was to the US.

Great point, a Muslim coalition force needs to be sent to Gaza so border can be controlled. Atleast Israel will then stop harming Palestinians. Last time Erdoğan suggested this but Hamas said any army that enters gaza will be treated as invasion. Immature decision by hamas.

Oh yeah, US went into Iraq and Afghanistan in order to build a jeffersonian democracy. And it was rejected. lol.

Actually they went in to brutalise and kill random people out of a desire for revenge. To destroy the countries and use their natural resources to fund an American led rebuidling effort. Thanks only to Iran, and Pakistan this colonisation effort failed in both countries.

It also bought china 20 years to build up its strength to a point it can face up to America. I think china should build a monument to Bush W. Iran too probably as it basically gave them Iraq.

So Israel should give Palestinians which is in Israeli illegal prisoners
Things here are incredibly difficult to understand.

Attacking defenseless Israeli innocent citizens is distinct from causing problems for HAMAS and Palestine.

If you wish to explain why HAMAS killed innocent people because of the Israel and Palestine conflict, you probably didn't understand why, at the time, nearly no one supported the Palestinians and HAMAS publicly, including the Pakistani army and government.

The scenario might be different if the strike had only targeted the Israeli military, but when it targeted innocent Israeli citizens, everything is working against them.

It is a scary thing for Israel when mainstream Right wing American politicians and analysts like Glenn Greenwald, Tucker Carson, Rand Paul , and YouTube channels like 'The Hill', and others start to, very cautiously, challenge the unconditional support for Israel. This is but one video; of course people like Ben Shapiro--the Israel Firsters Trojan Horse is upset.
When will Americans awake to this cabal of leeches draining American resources across the world??

Nothing scary at all. As long as I have been watching, there was always a heterodox group that opposed this umbilical cord type relation with Israel. But they were always a small minority and when push came to shove - like wars - they went silent, or their voices were drowned out. In fact, there was even a strand of antisemitism in U.S. politics one time. The rather well-known bigot being Henry Ford.

Tunisia canceled the migrant deal with the EU. They announced that the sea borders are open for anyone who wants to cross to Europe.

I salute the Tunisian government and send my love to them. You have taken an exemplary political decision and I hope our government will follow your example.

It is time to strangle Europe.

It was always a bad policy for Turkey to stop Syrians from going to Europe. Turkey should have kept the borders open and even help the Syrians go to Europe. These bastards create war in their countries, they should take the refugees from the wars.

Just because U.S. failed, doesn't mean we didn't try. Don't you remember all the excitement with women with purple fingers, girls walking to school unmolested etc.? We quickly realized these are all flashes in the pan that can't be transplanted on to a different culture.

People in Pakistan are being arrested for protesting for Palestine!

This is a new low, I didn't expect PK army will do this. In BD which is frequently labelled as secular, people are protesting freely, never in history we had any government stopping people from protesting for Palestine or any other oppressed Muslims in the world.
