So now even the Chinese are Anti-Semitic! And those are not 'tropes of Jewish control of American politics', they are facts! NY Times: You are the most powerful news outlet in the world and you need to not be a partisan voice for Israel. I know you give slap on the wrist to Israel.

As China Looks to Broker Gaza Peace, Antisemitism Surges Online

China’s state-run media has blamed the United States for deepening the crisis, while perpetuating tropes of Jewish control of American politics.

As the Israel-Hamas conflict intensifies, raising the prospect of a wider war, China has stepped up efforts to pitch itself as a neutral broker for Mideast peace.

Beijing’s top diplomat called his Israeli and Palestinian counterparts on Monday, urging restraint. A Chinese envoy is traveling in the Middle East, pledging to help avert a wider war. At the United Nations on Wednesday, China vetoed a resolution on the war that did not call for a cease-fire.

But even as China seeks to turn down the temperature diplomatically, a surge of antisemitism and anti-Israeli sentiment is proliferating across the Chinese internet and state media, undermining Beijing’s efforts to convey impartiality. China has already come under pressure from the United States and Israel for its refusal to condemn Hamas for its Oct. 7 attack that started the war.

The BTC pipeline has 11 partners and the largest shareholder is BP. Each partner sells its own oil. This pipeline was used to ship crude oil not only to Israel but also to Greece for example, and many other countries that have recently experienced serious political crises with TR. The issue you quoted, namely the shipment from Azerbaijan to Israel, was a very serious agenda in Turkis media in 2013 14, not today, because at that time Israel carried out an operation against a Turkish aid ship that wanted to break the blockade of Gaza and massacred 11 civilians. There were even additional claims, not included here, that jet fuel was also sold. At that time, everything from the BTC pipeline contract to the partnership structure and business model to transit sales instructions was shared in the press.

Unfortunately, Turkiye does not have the authority to interfere with which countries sellers sell to in transit sales. At this point, the entire line can be completely closed, but the crude oil going to Israel or passing to Israel with spot purchase after using this pipeline uses very little of the total capacity of the pipeline. Turkiye, needs to establish a pipeline that it finances and operates itself which does not have a British-French-American partnership structure. Under that condition, transit sales made through the BTC line cannot be interfered with, but some different things can be done. If the new pipeline is kept open all the time, in BTC, for example, there may be a technical problem somewhere.

I should also point out that until October 7, the Turkish and Israeli sides were holding exploratory talks on the normalization of relations and discussing potential cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean. In other words, let alone the BTC pipeline, the evaluation was being made on the extraction of Israeli natural gas to Ceyhan.

If October 7 had not happened, Turkiye could have directly become the biggest buyer of Israeli gas, let alone the transit of crude oil from Azerbaijan or northern Iraq to Israel.
