Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday expressed disappointment at the United Nations Security Council's (UNSC) failure to pass a resolution on a humanitarian truce in Gaza due to the only veto cast by the United States.

Twelve of the 15 members of the Security Council supported the draft, while the U.S., with veto power, was the only council member to vote against it. Britain and Russia abstained.
The UNSC itself is the subject and the greatest source of the threats the world faces.

Reports claim some hostages with foreign citizenship could be released soon

The New York Times, citing a senior Israeli military official, says talks are underway for the release of some 50 dual-nationals from Hamas captivity, “based on conversations between the United States and Qatar.”

The members of the US House of Representatives should present a motion/resolution to demand a two state solution on the 1967 borders in accordance with the Oslo accords. If it is rejected it will speak more words, then Muslims in each district can say they will vote against the incumbents in each district. Many elections were very close, losing enough voters can get many out of office, and that is the most important thing to many career politicians.

According to former Congressman Patrick Buchanan: "US Congress is part of the Israeli Occupied Territory". They kissed the feet of AIPAC.

Nice try. I know in a rural area relatively not far from my house where a few pittbulls mauled a 20-something woman so much that she has lost her both arms and legs--imagine that! A big attack dog like you showed here is not some stuffed teddy bear. But just a few days ago I was in a gathering where a couple of dogs were there--they were loved and fed. Context is important!!
But then Israelis and its supporters and context??

I love Patrick Buchanan even if it is hard to figure out whom he dislikes most: The Israelis or the Muslims!! He is a patriotic American unlike those paid for in the media and the politics!

You are a homo, talk like one behave like one or you are the type of people who sit with the others in order to winde them up. In the first half an hour you think that you are very clever and no one can suss you, all of sudden you find yourself on the floor with blood on your face . Yet again, you were stupid but yet again you will try. Otherwise you would be unnoticed. That's how it goes in Sarajevo and Belgrade..
Most definitely you are not far from Sarajevo, my point consisted your own words.
Now you expect to tell you that I never said that you're from Igman. Alas no , finish the story and gtfoh
Lol what are you mumbling again?

One major lesson that all Islamic nations should have learnt from this Zionist massacre and the Western hypocrisy is as follows. Unless Islamic countries don't bundle their economic/military strength together in some sort of a union/bloc they will remain a pathetic joke.

I can guarantee you guys that Islamic countries haven't learnt one iota from any conflict. This will be the same. Islamic countries will be hated, vilified and viewed as a pathetic bunch. They will be invaded and destroyed one by one. People from Islamic countries will languish abroad in Western nations like immigrants. Even the smart and educated people will flee their nations.

Children born in the concentration camp missed the play day...

We the dead conscience of the world eyeball it and move on.

There is a war coming, there is a peace coming... the war brings living to their death and peace will be death to the living!
Dread both...

No wonder every single entity at their scale is mapping out a road map to come ahead... they'd been planning all those choke points and points of inflection while keeping a smile on their faces. Rest of the Arabs are well fed... passive and mired in the rat race. Ones sitting on top of the cooker keeping the lid tight and just letting enough steam out as to not blow it open.
The ones who talk only economy must know that things were in the balance for who knows how long... but it was never sustainable. So, someone somewhere has just got to decide and flip that switch and let the show begin.

So more 'time' to prepare America if the war expands and 'time' to release the hostages. And we all know if/when the hostages released, what's going to happen unless some neutral countries' forces are placed in several parts of Gaza. And Israeli sources are saying the 'time' Americans need is to prepare for attack on Iran.

BTW, it is more than the 'revenge' for October 7. Israelis KNOW that, with such a large dual-citizen population, Israel is finished unless and until the State of Israel can guarantee safety to the immigrants and hence the Gazans, the W. Bank and the Hezb/Iran threat must be totally neutralized...

The Biden administration has advised Israel to delay a ground invasion of Gaza, hoping to buy time for hostage negotiations and to allow more humanitarian aid to reach Palestinians in the sealed-off enclave, according to several U.S. officials.

American officials also want more time to prepare for attacks on U.S. interests in the region from Iran-backed groups, which officials said are likely to intensify once Israel moves its forces fully into Gaza.

The administration is not making a demand of Israel and still supports the ground invasion and Israel’s goal of eradicating Hamas, the group controlling Gaza that killed about 1,400 people in terrorist attacks on Oct. 7, the officials said.

But fast-moving events since Hamas released two American women on Friday have spurred the administration to more urgently suggest that the Israelis allow time to negotiate the release of 212 other hostages, the officials said.

President Biden called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday afternoon to discuss the latest developments, the White House said. Mr. Biden also spoke to the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Britain.

Mr. Biden and Mr. Netanyahu agreed that after the entry of the first two convoys of humanitarian aid into Gaza on Saturday, there “will now be continued flow of this critical assistance,” a White House summary of the call said. The leaders also “discussed ongoing efforts to secure the release of all the remaining hostages taken by Hamas — including U.S. citizens — and to provide for safe passage for U.S. citizens and other civilians in Gaza who wish to depart,” the White House said.

Two U.S. officials said the advice to the Israelis to hold off on the land war was being conveyed through Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III because the Pentagon is helping advise Israel on military actions, including the ground invasion.

Mr. Austin has had near daily calls with his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Gallant, to discuss operational matters, American arms shipments to Israel and U.S. military deployments to the region. He has also talked about recovering the hostages as a priority, one U.S. official said.
