G-4 nations put joint bid for Security Council expansion

If India submits a joint bid for a permanent seat on the U.N. Security Council P-5 with the African Union (representing Africa) and Brazil (representing Latin America), you will garner my support and those of many others.

China will never accept any co-application with Japan (which refuses to sincerely apologize for WWII atrocities, glorifies its war criminals in the Yasukuni Shrine, and refuses to pay compensation to its victims) for a seat on the UNSC P-5. Germany cannot be a candidate, because there are already two European countries on the UNSC P-5.

It won't take much time to collapse China .. if P-4 & G-4 decide on something ... and a point to note is that P-4 & G-4 constitue the 8 largest economies in the top 10. Canada is the 9th member.

And the reality is ... that G-4 and P-4 are getting closer and closer. Too bad for you .. but, it's China which is the odd man out.

LOL, the "P4"? More Indian wet dreams.

Too bad everyone else in the world refers to it as the P5+1. :azn:

Other non-proliferation efforts have been undertaken on Iran by the so-called "P5+1" group of nations: The USA, Russia, China, France, and Britain, plus Germany.

I hate it when someone wastes my time. India is a very weak country in economic, military, and technological terms. And yet, some of you Indians seem to enjoy trash talking. Give me a break.

China has sat as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for decades. In contrast, India is a nobody. Anyway, mark my words, a joint application by India, Japan, Germany, and Brazil is futile and will not succeed.

If you close your eyes and pretend blindness ..... do you think other people are going to think you are smart??

Open your eyes .... people are actually laughing at you.

And G-4 is not important ..... but you are fooling yourself, if you think that UNSC continues on... without India.

And China is indeed, the odd man out ..... Russia, USA, France, UK (P-4) and Germany, Japan, Brazil (part of G-4) all understand that India has to be in UNSC ... otherwise, UNSC starts looking absurd.

In fact, even CPC govt couldn't collect guts to openly oppose India ..... the couldn't do it in NSG, they can't do it (openly, atleast) at UNSC. After all, they don't want to look outright stupid.

It was interesting to see China signing and submitting NPT acceptance documents separately in (i) Washington, (ii) Moscow and (iii) London.

You see, there has always been a P-3 (USA, USSR and UK), the real winner of the Second World War. And there were the pretenders: France and China. (France and China were actually loser, the former lost to Germany and the latter to Japan).

The P-3 saved you guys ... lucky for you. congrats at being gifted your independences.

India did not even exist in 1945.

India was an artificial creation of the British colonialists, out of the many independent kingdoms of the subcontinent.

And today India is the country with more poverty and starvation than the entire continent of Africa.

But I know you guys consider yourselves a superpower anyway, despite all the actual facts. :azn:

Oh really .... and Christopher Columbus set out in risky waters .... just to search a route to India in 1492.
(And actually, found USA).

I just don't understand, why you are offering such stupid comments ... which are so easy to make fun off.

Oops. :P

"India is merely a geographical expression. It is no more a single country than the Equator."

- Winston Churchill

India back then was nothing more than a geographical expression, based on the area around the Indus River.

It was the British colonialists who united the many independent kingdoms of the subcontinent, into the artificial entity known as "British India".

Which was then split in half when the Muslims demanded their own homeland, and that was when India was born, in 1947.

For 67 years, the world could care less what India thinks. That is still true today. Germany's Spiegel interviewed China's vice foreign minister Fu Ying, not some minister from pathetically weak India with no global influence.

India is the one that is begging for a seat, even without a permanent veto, on the United Nations Security Council. China has already told you that only the group of African Union, Brazil, and India are acceptable.

Your ridiculous choice of including Japan (which will always be vetoed by China) and a proposed third European country (Germany) is a non-starter.

Try reading the response of China's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. Reforming the current world structure to include Brazil, India, and Africa is acceptable. Implicitly, the inclusion of Japan and Germany will attract a Chinese veto.

Interview with China's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs

'The West Has Become Very Conceited'

Part 3: 'China Has No Intention to Rule the World'

SPIEGEL: As of the end of June, China held US bonds with a total value of $1.165 trillion and European bonds worth $700 billion. Economically, China is already a superpower today. What does that mean for the political balance of power?

Fu Ying: Many say that power is shifting from the West to the East, but we believe that it is a process of diffusion. It used to be within the Western world, but now it is also diffusing to a wider world. There is a need to reform the current world structure, which was built after World War II to the benefit of around 1 billion people of the developed world. China is only one of the newly emerging countries. Brazil is growing. India is growing, as are parts of Africa. In the future, 3 to 4 billion people will be coming into this process of wider industrialization. But that reform needs to be an incremental process that is achieved not through war and not through conflict, but through dialogue."

As I said, UNSC is going to make itself look stupid, without India .... and China is the only odd man out (though, not openly).

However, it may want to .... it's beyond China, to stop India's peaceful rise.

Next you'll start quoting Hitler ... "Jews are an evil race. bla bla".

What could Winston Churchill do .... apart from calling India is like "Equator"

If India is Equator, China is just as much as an old wall.

If India has an ocean, China just has a sea.

Churchill was voted the greatest Prime Minister in the history of Britain, and was a war hero for his efforts to help defeat Nazi Germany during WW2.

Many counties today are the result of unification by some force or the other, these kind of statements do look quite appalling :coffee:

You have again proved that you are a clueless Idiot who read too much of Propaganda by anti India lunatics. Use some brain cells if you have any and find out the context in which W.Churchill said something like that. What you are quoting is incorrect but an invention of a Pakistani blogger like you, who lie day and night and twist words to satisfy his low self esteem by abusing India.

"India is no more a political personality than Europe. India is a geographical term. It is no more a united nation than the Equator." Winton Churchill

And the context to which he was referring was; leaving the cartography aside, for him Indian does not represent a political entity any more than Europe was. For him India and Europe were mere geographical expressions assigned to specific regions of the world for the convenience sake.

Try to learn some thing reading good books Mr. High IQ Chinaman.

BTW I know what next dumb post of yours is going to be if you would have guts to quote my this post. Bring it on cause you people are nitpickers, take clues from other's intellect and come back again to bite them.
