From Keelor to Abhinandan - IAF Continues its Tradition of Awarding Vir Chakra on Fake Kills

But were damaged and can be called a kill as per IAF logic
PAF author falsely claimed a Mystere crash in 1965 as a kill as mention in PAF Air Commodre Sajad Haider book

He damaged the Sabre badly and it got away due to sheer luck, so it is as good as a kill.

and it was the PAF skill of the pilot and aircrew to be able to take a mauled jet to his base , land and it team repair it.

either way a bogus claim from India...as usual

further sabre had very light armour protection it only took a few shots to bring it down.

I watched some parts of the ceremony and noticed they are replacing “China” with word “fighting enemy” while awarding those that die in Galvan. Whereas they didn’t replace Pakistan on Abhinandand citation or Antak wadi on all other citations.

Indians have a natural fear of china,

they are hesitant to speak against China. Remember they are hindus they tend to idolise any one they preceive as superior.

So John Fricker mistakenly mentioned it as a kill??

At least something crashed in this incident unlike here where no F16 crashed or that sabra kill of Keelor that never happened and IAF simply created these lies to save face for the humiliation it was inflicted with by PAF

Try again multiple ID rat

Abbu ka naam laitai hoye phat jati hai in ki

That is why they didn't name China in Galwan citations

In order to understand the new Indian mindset, you’ve to move beyond looking at it from a militaristic mindset.

The new India is governed by a Hindu supremacist ideology. If Indian Army loses a battalion in Galwan, it doesn’t hurt the overall Indian Army (they’ve lost many more soldiers on LOC fighting Pak) as much it hurts the supremacist ideology in play. Hence the entire wordplay.

The same goes for PAF bombing their military base, and Abhinandan’s fake kill. For the IAF to accept a kill will not take away much from their overall preparation against Pakistan in an all out war, but to accept the events as they happened would show that the supremacists at helm lost. And this is why the koolaid continues to drip.

If you pay attention to the citations given to Abhinandan and Gurtej Singh (for Galwan) - you’ll notice a common theme. Abhinandan’s upgraded Mig-21 ‘Bison’ is suddenly declared as a rusty old aircraft going up against a 4th Gen plane and still against all odds taking it down. While Gurtej is given a VC for ‘killing’ 12 Chinese soldiers on his own - while he got ‘stabbed in the back’. A classic case of absolute pathological victim complex - being drip fed to the masses. The Hindu supremacists did not lose. But put up a fight against all odds … hundreds to one ratio.

Now, all of this is fine except there’s no version of such supremacist driven ideological attempt to take over gov, where the setup itself doesn’t start believing in their own bullshit. They’ve infected their own system. If anything, the incidents at Balakot and Galwan have only reinforced the Hindutva project in a way, where BJP has managed to placate the masses by dramatizing the events. So eventually, as we can already see, it’s seeping into their military machine too. Which works for both Pak and China. This is why you never stop the enemy, when it’s making a mistake.

So your uncles said that his friend of a friend who worked in IAF as a Chowkidar heard from another Chowkidar who said that according to sources he gave the sabre the indian eye so it is considered a kill?

Excellent analysis but I have to disagree with one point. These street shitters will make a mistake that will cause millions of lives. A point might come where they are so drunk on their own koolaid that they'll try to go against the established deterrence principles and that will be the end of the world as we know it.

You are actually right in suggesting that. This is where I believe once in a while Feb 27th like performance would be needed by our folks, which would ultimately deter an all-out-war. The other side, while it cannot attack Pakistan, takes out the anger internally at Indian muslims, hence you can see the ostracization campaign in full effect.
