Depends where it made impact, if it was at waterline level ship probably split it 2. If it was like 2006 HZ attack on Israel frigate which exploded above deck it is possible the ship survives but heavily damaged.

Noor missiles are designed to take a dive right before they hit their target, Hitting it at the lowest point, So most likely they sank the ship.

These two incidents that have happened also occurred in the US military. They must be poorly trained too, yes?

It is a sign of maturity for one to admit to their own mistakes and be the first to realise and say it. Yes it may cause humiliation in the short term, but what matters is learning from those errors. All of these incidents that have happened, plane being shot down, ship attack have been done by the likes of USA. If we are learning from them, then naturally the military will be becoming more mature. These incident will hopefully cause a serious improvement in the management culture of even at the lowest ranked soldiers. Hopefully in the future, these incidents will be part of training manuals explaining what happened and how they changed the standard operating procedures.
