I really believe the 1971 surrender happened because General Niazi accepted bribe from RAW. Bribery is the factor that decides the results of all Indo-Pak wars except in 1948 when the controls were still in British hands.

In 1971, it was Niazi.

In 1999, it was Nawaz Sharif who took the bribe and arranged for ceasefire.

I don't who it was in 1965.

The current lull in Pakistani support to Kashmir insurgency is also thanks to corruption in Pakistan military and intelligence agencies. Which is why our army is having a free hand in clearing the state of all militants.

Our generals are corrupt yet all the Indian arms deals including the recent Rafale deal contains kick backs !
