Why?

Because of the indian misplaced beleif that Kashmiris dont hate or fight against india and all the fighters are coming from Pakistan

Well, that gives the ratio of 3.91 while Indian army and Indian population is 6 times of PA and Pakistan's respectively, so we need to optimise it.

I've been counting since the year started. Added 2 PA personnel from local news sources, and the Indian figure is 43 excluding the recent death of an army porter.
NLI is a regular infantry regiment, just like MLI and JAKLI, not mujahideen. Though the figure includes the Indian troops KIA during encounters with militants on the LoC/WB.

your information system from defence is faulty , they were reporting pak army was winning in bangladesh even after they surrendered .

yeah we know our army and govt is not above PM .
they are bound to oath to report each and every event to defence minister , chief of army salutes defence minister , no pm goes to GHQ , army chief gets time from defence minister and after getting time goes to office of defence minister and breifs him . after waiting for some time if minister is busy .
