Which Indian parent would want to send their son to the Indian Airforce knowing that there is a high chance of being killed by not enemy action but a technical issue. Either the pilots are poorly trained and pushing the planes carelessly or beyond their limits or the planes have poor maintenance. It could also be that these youngsters are being sacrificed to push for more replacement modern aircraft.

Did you even listen the Interview? This is a great interview to understand the prespective of any airforce why they still carry old aircrafts. But this guy has ruined the thread faking the headlines.
