Whatever that is - unconstitutional means should not be followed, If the state set the precedent to submit to mob than it will become banana republic. What if tomorrow a mullah brings few thousand of his followers and demand to throw away the constitution and make him Khalifa? mind it there are plenty of nut jobs who consider constitution of Pakistan un-Islamic.

a fine point and maulana diesel has made it very clear that he will move against imran khan if he throws way the govt and we know how desperate he is for PM seat. Siraj is also saying that an islamic constitution should be placed. If such an event happens then imran would have showed every power hungry bigot in Pakistan the easiest way to become the prime minister which will be chaotic for Pakistan.

The least we can do is to stop glorifying corruption and accepting as way of life. Back in 80s, it was a big deal if someone was found to accept bribe, not only him but his family used to hide their faces. Now, we have accepted it as our way of life and therefore people are no longer ashamed of corruption. When you accept something as a way of life, it is bound to flourish, not contained, and that is exactly what is happening in Pakistan.

could not agree to you more. My only point is that expecting someone to clear up corruption overnight of with in one or two months is expecting the unachievable.

The fastest way would be XYZ may be a politician or army chief on assuming the office of Pakistan's Chief executive speaks to the nation immediately and declares that there will be no corruption or drawing extra privilege. And then he announces that it would start from me. Announces any unnecessary privileges to cease with immediate effect. For example he announces that there will be no motorcades including himself or no more plots allocation to armed forces officers, including himself. There are innumerable such measures which can be undertaken to eradicate corruption, big or small.

very rightly pointed out that TuQ and IK through their marches have removed the veil from people's face. These marches have also exposed desperation of IK to become PM. People of Pakistan should see whats going on tv and with an open and fair mind vote in next elections whenever those are scheduled. wish that happens after 10 points agenda of TuQ and 6 points agenda of IK has been implemented.

See, that is THE point many of our friends have not taken note of or ignored altogether. Fourteen people been shot dead and FIR is not being registered and SC is not willing to intervene while knowing all too well the importance of the FIR. If this does not raise a question about the integrity of the SC then I don't know what does.

When Long Marchs and Dharnas fails miserably, than a new entry (Afzal Khan) introduced by script writers just like Mansoor Ejaz in memo gate or Malik Riaz against CJ Iftikhar……now only a fool couldn’t figure out who is the actual Umpire and who is actually behind these marchs and dharnas…..the fact of the matter is more than PTI /IK……it’s the super institution who is looking more desperate and vulnerable…if these dharnas goes down the drains....thier unconstitutional politics will be finished forever.

Integrity of SC has always been questioned, not openly, but this has brought it to surface. Now there's a visible black mark on SC. SC in my opinion was never fair and independent. Our judiciary is institutionally corrupt!

All these events and developments are very interesting. Intelligence agencies stipulating Shahbaz as the main orchestrator of model town murders in JIT report, and now this. ISI and others have taps on everyone including PM's bedroom as well and it seems that things are being leaked slowly to the nation.

like IK , when IK says i will hang the corrupt, then you read the Pakistan Penal code, brother i am lawyer, and one person accepting that he is also part of that rigging, which IK claiming, so instead of feeling proud on Mohammad's afzals revelations, we must firstly start proceedings, against Mohammad Afzal also in first place, because when he knew that rigging is underway during elections, he will not says any thing till 14 Months.

we have laws we have prescribed punishments, but implementation of law is not there as everyone is corrupt. It is due to this reason top man has to start with his own accountability.

we should not concentrate on umpires but on actual issues on ground. All the issues placed on board are genuine.

Mr. Afzal did not say because he was not in a position to say so. He was not the CEC or somebody who had all the control of the election. Secondly, he was a government employee, who had to think several times before spilling the beans against the government due to the consequence (confiscation of dues and pension, getting him involved in corruption charges etc). You think its easy to do that? You will know only if you had served in the government. Lastly, there is a right time for everything to do. It would be unwise, in-fact downright stupid to blow a whistle when nobody is there to listen to it. Now is the time so he is blowing the whistle.

Regarding IK... IK is talking non-sense because he is a politician and not a lawyer, but IF you are a lawyer, why talking like that?
