You are making zero sense. No one should control others and no one should be controlled by others. Everyone should be free to live his life as per his own beliefs. To be Chinese is national identity . Its not religious identity so yes tell me what laws is there in china which will force chinse muslims to eat food if they are not eating it because of fastins? Fasting is not for little children as said before. Religion might be under the law in china but my question was more specific about fastings. How will china governmwnt force chinese Muslims to eat something because eating is personal choice?

This reminds me of other posts by Pakistani members complaining here about war mongering, xenophobia against Pakistan by Indians on the internet.

Having been on those forums I can say those complaints weren't unfounded either.

But here's the thing though, there's the same pattern of behaviour growing here on PDF, a backlash and reaction against the Indian posters.

Both sides indulge in trolling and mud slinging, no excuses there, but do you really want to turn into habits that people came here to avoid in the first place?

On Topic, can anyone local shed more light on this issue, I can't see how fasting can be construed as malicious.

then even communism becomes a personal belief instead of being state belief which is not the case. When they say they are communist country they believe in that ideology as simple as that, there might obviously be some transgressions at the lower level.

Fasting is actually scientifically proven to be beneficial , it helps clearing toxins from our body and also in weight control , i agree it shouldn't be forced on children but it should be allowed , even Hindus have the concept of fast , we do fast in navratri like Muslims do in Ramzan but its totally optional , various diet plans include fasting

You have difficulty in understanding . Little children dont need to fast . Teens and adult do fastings by their own will and if they abstain from eating what you gonna do? Will force them to eat? It seem Hui Muslims have more religious freedom in china than Uighurs
