Outside of the recent 50 years of migration largely thanks to your policies in that same region. For 99% of recorded human history the ME was always ahead of your little tiny island on all fronts. The change nowadays is something relatively new in the wider sense of history.

That user is a obvious joke. Just read his user history. His country is the biggest source of most of the unrest in the ME and his government have the exact same position as that of Turkey and other regional countries.

Funnily enough the same UK hosts some of the biggest "Muslim" radicals without persecuting them and their TV stations are freely able to spread nonsense 24/7. So much for that.

He is not interested in the security and stability of the ME. In fact his likes are satisfied because of the unrest as it serves their political agendas. Yet his likes are a tiny minority in the West and most Western academics, including the British, recognize their great role in the instability that we see in the ME.
