Foreigners don’t like Muslims, only their money: Turkish President Erdoğan

Have to smile a bit. The only people I've met who have been to Turkey either loved it and want to return as tourists or want to strengthen the U.S.-Turkey defense relationship.

Erdogan is clearly the anti-Ataturk here: his emphasis is on holing himself up in palaces, promoting Islam, and establishing himself as a "Middle East" leader, rather than a Turkish one.

“I have been the target of heavy criticism by the Western media. Just because I repeated a fact based on scientific research, I have been targeted by the Western media, as well as the foreigners within who suffer from an ego complex”
Invoking the truth-turned-upside-down argument. Well, it works for the Palestinian Arab leadership, why shouldn't Erdogan give it a go and see if the will of his fellow Turks can be sapped into weakness the same way? If he meets no resistance I think he'll move into his palace, hire non-Turks as bodyguards, and dictate his will as he can.

The West are not angels and we all know that. Yet such comments are not doing any favors to anyone. Turkey is a NATO member state. You can't play on two horses at one time. Envisaging yourself as the "savior of the Muslim world" and then being a NATO member while criticizing "the evil West". You can't make hours long speeches on how evil the Zionists are while your government increases trade with the same Zionists. Nobody takes people like that seriously. Unless they are simpletons.
Its pretty obvious that his speeches dont make any sense, hes is talking as if he had a independent foreign policy while he is perfectly acting in interests of NATO/West (Nato radar shield, training Pesh/FSA) but hes populist speeches make people like OP, which is pretty common among muslims all across the world, feel somehow strong or important.

Hes attitude can only fool people who desperately seek a strong muslim leader which isnt aviable so they take the next best and built a bubble of myths around him.

Do you ever make a post on PDF or elsewhere (I was informed of other two-faced characters on that other certain Pakistani forum (they know who they are) ) without mentioning the word "Arab" and "Muslim" often in connection with evil. Do you have bad dreams about the 450-500 million Arabs every day? Do you know that over 50% of your so-called "Jewish" brothers in the world out of 13 million Jews are Jewish Arabs?

Maybe you should stick to stealing Arab cuisine and claiming it as the "non-existent" 66 year old "Israeli" cuisine as you did in that other thread.

What a joke from a 40+ year old man. Similar to another clown on PDF in the same age bracket.

Also a self-declared Zionist giving speeches about democracy. Like Goebbels giving speeches about multiculturalism.

I don't understand were some Indians get this confidence from when they’re country is in such a state. I'm realistic about how Pakistan is and I would never belittle and call any other country poor.:disagree:
Got to agree.
@mehboobkz can we please not get into d*ck measuring...and particularly about poverty. Its demeaning all around.

Well he has to please his local voters which are mostly conservative Muslims and correct me if I am wrong but they are still the majority in Turkey. Especially outside of Istanbul and Ankara.

Anyway I have nothing against Erdogan as a person and I have no problem with admitting that he has been a successful politician but that does not mean that I agree with everything that he is doing in connection to the Arab world. I mean I have a point when you have Turks on PDF from all over the world complaining about him being too engulfed in Arab affairs instead of Turkic affairs with countries such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Well I get that Turkey and the Arab world are neighbors and always will be and were (at least the Turks of Turkey and other minorities) and I also agree that we should cooperate and have good relations as most Arab countries have with Turkey and vice versa but I am not sure that supporting MB like movements is the solution for the current problems of the ME and Muslim world.

I do not believe so.

Around 50% to be precise and this only because of the economic success of his party, not because he is somehow a super muslim leader, there are also seculars among his voters.

Im all for trade and friendly connection to middle east but he should stop meddling in others politics, hes has obviously no diplomatic skills.

So in that sense i agree with you.

How many children are dead as a result of Erdogan's (and Qatar's and Saudi Arabia's) arming of Islamist fanatics in Syria?

The Clash of civilisations is a real thing

Islamic nations HATE the power and wealth of the Christian west while
firmly believing that Islam is the most superior religion in the world

At one point of time Islamic nations were more powerful and
richer than the Christian West but today ....................

The only foreign weapons in jihadist hands are western, just saying. :coffee:
No they aren't. Britain and France haven't armed any rebel groups. The US has only given a small number. It is an overwhelmingly Saudi/Qatari/Turkish operation.

Regarding a truly independent policy. Which countries have that? I can only mention 3. USA, China and Russia. Even the Western European countries are on many fronts dictated from the US. Tiny UK on their own has very little influence nowadays.

How many children are dead as a result of British war crimes and meddling in the ME - the cradle of civilization? Go ask yourself that question before meddling if you are truly concerned about the ME which you are obviously not.
How many children are dead not only in the Middle East but everywhere in the world as a result of poisonous Saudi Wahhabist ideology?
