Turkish troops are actively deployed on the airport, alongside US forces. I assume Azerbaijani troops as well, but it's hard to discern the two, for both use the same equipment on this deployment.

Why is she so surprised? This how fate treats turn coats. Also in another part of her story she was showing how Marines are posted with weapons trained on them if they make one wrong Afghani move they drop them. So they might play a dirty game with those people's numbers who are shot.
