Fair enough. Apparently you think you have forced Pakistan to spend more on their defense hence it is some kind of retaliation from you. For us I don' think we are spending extraordinarily or something extra. We are spending according to our budget that was passed by our parliament.
the budget that was passed by the parliament was first approved by the gentlemen in rawalpindi sirjee. who are you kidding?

fortunately for Pakistan's enemies, it is quite easy to hire her own citizens to kill each other for a few greenbacks.

Army chief pulls up top commanders at LoC after Pak attack

NEW DELHI: Army chief Gen Bikram Singh has pulled up the commanders of formations deployed in Poonch sector at line of control in the wake of two major raids by the Pakistan army special troops ion Indian territory in the last eight months.

During the visit to the LoC to review the security situation after the killing of five Indian soldiers in Poonch on Tuesday, the Army chief pulled up the formation commanders there, Army sources said here.

In the earlier incident on January 8, the troops of Pakistan's Special Services Group (SSG) had entered Indian territory and killed two Indian soldiers and beheaded one of them.

After the January incident, the Army chief had asked his formation commanders to adopt an aggressive stance at the LoC and asked them to respond immediately in case of provocation by Pakistan army.

"I expect my commanders to be aggressive in the face of firing," Gen Singh had said.

The Army is also checking if there was any violation of standard operating procedures (SOP) by the troops and the unit deployed in that area.

Officials said it was also checking that how the terrorists have been able to dodge the anti-personnel mines laid in the area.

Last rites of five Army jawans held with military honours

Amid heart-rending scenes, the mortal remains of five army jawans killed by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) were on Thursday consigned to flames with full military honours in their respective villages in Bihar and Maharashtra.

In Ara in Bihar, the funeral pyre of Lance Naik Shambhu Saran (29) was lit by his two-year-old son Piyush while that of Naik Prem Nath Singh (35) was consigned to flames by his two-and-a-half-year-old son Prateek at Simaria Ghat on the bank of river Saryu in Saran district.

The last rites of Sepoy Vijay Rai (27) were performed on the bank of river Ganga at his native village Bayapur in Maner block of Patna district with his six-year-old son Vivek lighting the pyre amid chanting of hymns and slogans of "Vijay Rai Amar Rahe."

People turned emotional when Vivek consoled his mother and grandmother and said he would join the army to avenge the killing of his father.

Rai's colleagues from Danapur regiment and Bihar Police personnel paid respect to him by reversing their arms.

Mortal remains of Lance Naik Raghunandan Prasad were consigned to flames at Dubhaigarh ghat on the bank of river Saryu in Saran district. His uncle Tribhuban Prasad lit the pyre of the 23-year-old soldier who was a bachelor.

Large number of people from the jawans' villages and adjacent areas gathered at the funeral sites to pay their respect to the departed soldiers. Slogans against Pakistan for the audacious killings were raised.

When district magistrate told Triloki Rai, uncle of Shambhu Sharan, that compensation of Rs 10 lakh announced by the state government would be sent to his home, he retorted, "We don't want compensation but military action against Pakistan."

The bodies of the four soldiers were flown by a special Air Force plane at the Jai Prakash Narayan airport here late last night.

If it was SSG, then brilliant job. Wandering 700 meters into enemy occupied posts with stealth and attacking the enemy with precision in darkness of the night, avoiding the IEDs, snipers, trenches, barbed wires and the backfire from enemy post without any casualty, then returning 700 meters back avoiding further detection.

Look more like a job of freedom fighters in the occupied Kashmir than SSG crossing over the border.

conducting an ambush is a bad weather condition at night is not a difficult job. even regular force can do it. trenches, barbed wires are 700 to 1 km inside indian territory. (read indo pak border fencing)

This year the health budget is increased considerably. Health and education are more now provincial issues and it is up to them that how much they spend on them. Like PTI in KPK has allocated more money than ever for education.

As far as defense is concerned we are spending nothing extra right now. The budget was approved months ago by parliament.

I just want to offer condolence to the familiies of the soldiers. They died defending their country. We know Indian army's capability and there will be a 24 hour look out for them in our border posts. Sadly, we the paper warriors cry for blood, but it is our soldiers who are dying uselessly in the border areas for us. To the Pakistanis brothers to refrain from gloating here. These soldiers were brave who died valiantly probably by our soldiers who were just carrying their orders.
Lets be real here. It is lives we are talking about, not a game of cricket.

Kashmir is a 67 years old struggle man...you are only talking abt recent Indian losses.
we are not talking about kashmir on this thread. This thread is about 5 Indian soldiers were killed in 2013 by terrorists. Topic is over and out.

If you want to talk about recent aggression go to the related thread.

As I said before, Pakistani side Kashmir losses are more in civilians, while Indians side losses are always Soldiers.

The remaining reclaiming of Kashmir, is a struggle happening every year....2013, 2014 or 2015, will happen. The more late they make, the more loss in treasure and blood of Indian soldiers had to take.

Kashmirs never want to part of Hindu India.
