Few words of appreciation

After Mumbai terrorist attack, i personally went many different forums and i noticed whenever being a Pakistani, I try to defend Pak position or adopt offensive posture against Indian mode of investigation (with friendly gesture), either i been banned from topic or kicked out. But overall i been able to convey my messages.
But only forum DEFENCE.PK, where i have seen moderates,admin and members gave full opportunity to Indians to express their point of views and plus respectfully present their counter analysis.
I think its one of few best forums and home forum for us Pakistani.
Thanks to everyone, Admin,moderaters, thinktank and respected members,who are conducting such a nice environment of discussion.

Exactly my sentiments.. The admins/mods are very matured people here and look @ things thru their head and not thru their heart, which makes it easier to express one's anguish without going overboard

IMHO the whole purpose of joining this august forum is to be able to post your POV. this gives opportunity for dialogue and a understanding of the others POV without going overboard (here i must admit that colleagues should try to control their emotions without getting personal). by getting a 360 view one gets a better understanding of why things are happening. hopefully whatever we learn here we can then inform others so that we can do our little bit for "peace & understanding" in our region.

I have learned that we all need to share our feelings. Sometimes wise, sometimes stupid. After that there is the real time for facts and logic. And fortunately this is one of the few forums that is suited for the whole picture without being banned or disgraced. There are always a few that want to test... Well, I like that. If there is nothing near the boundaries then there is no fun.

You can talk, but it really doesn't fit any of our forums. We used to have a forum dedicated to theology but it ultimately had to be let go. Not because of offending Islam, but because of sensibilities of followers of other faiths.

And again, the type of crowd that visits here really doesn't get a kick out of dissing other people's faiths and we focus on and appreciate those kind of people.

Defence.pk has never been hungry for activity, and massive amount of posters. We are rather quite content in keeping our qualitative edge rather than quantitative.

Yes, I agree, this is a great place to learn and be respected. You can not find anywhere what we have here. I'm thankful for it.

Personally, I have found the roots to my wonderful heritage here as well as feeling at being at home.

there used to be a forum where i used to post for 2 years but as soon as the kashmir topic came up and i showed them the truth about the kashmiri situation i got banned from the forum but defence.pk allowed me to share my views on not just the kashmiri situation but the whole world

I have seen other Pakistani and Indian forums where no one has rein over their fingers,continuously swearing and having a disease called "superiority Complex",for which its hard for members from small countries like Bangladesh to "Survive" on those forums.
