An ATM booth of Islami Bank was torched by unknown youths in Khulna city on Sunday afternoon.

A group of six to seven youths on motorcycles vandalised the ATM booth and set it on fire around 3:10pm at Shib Bari intersection, reports our Khulna correspondent.

Later, the fire fighters rushed to the spot and douse the fire, SM Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sonadanga Model Police Station, told The Daily Star

Totally unacceptable action (most probably done by Awami/leftist thugs).

As I said the Awami League are a very violent organization and ruthless.

I also think part of the Shahbagh protest was a signal to Jamat that if they threatened civil war then the Awami League also had their own army of supporters.

This is also probably part of that message.

At the end of the day violence in politics achieves nothing for Bangladesh.

Anyway Awami League will be kicked out of office in the next elections and there's nothing they can do to stop it.

Their cruel mind is un readable.
They can make now some news which will straight go in their favor.
When shibir recently torched fire on vehicles and properties and killed people.
Then jamat minded braniwashed people said.
"Go jamat go"

@ I always say, your writings are always self contradictory.

@ It is not that easy to kick out AL from the political aerina of Bangladesh. How can you kick out the Awami Leaque once the election is held under party govt. Have you seen any election and how it is been conducted ? Even the polling officers of our country are selected on the line of political background. If some body does not behave it is taken into task then and there. Awami Leaque is borned to behave like that. AL is not a democratic party, it always runs through behind the screen.

@ I remember in 1999/20 during the AL regime new voter list was made. And in that voter list there were many false voters. People says these are people who flade to India or still residing in India means non-muslims whose parents went to India. Once Care Taker Govt came it was revealed but they could hardly do anything. Some voters names were deleted. Once BNP came to power they decided to make a fresh voter list but it was vetod by Supreme Court that no new voter list to be prepared and it was illegal only thing they can update it. There after whole blame was given to BNP. This is Awami Leaque.
