As far as I know this guy is struggling in his career and this is smart move to make Indians watch his movies even if he's not such a good actor. If modi can become PM after talking against Pakistan, this guy can also someday become Shahrukh khan. Talking anti Pakistan is the formula to success in India. As far as Muslims in India are concerned I don't think he is being honest here. He is putting up a show just to make more indian fans. The respect he gets in this debate clearly shows how happy Muslims in india generally and this guy specifically are. With Muslims laws being removed one after another including the talak issue, everybody knows the level of happiness of Muslims in 'secular' India.
Well here's the debate and he doesn't seem too happy.
There is nothing like "Muslims laws"
The only thing that counts is the law of the land
So if your law of land says something that is against a minority's religion what are they supposed to do?
Don't worry about me I follow my country's laws. Every religion has some dos and donts. If a Muslim is allowed to eat beef you cannot force them not to eat it. Its like if Pakistan is Muslim majority country we can force the hindu community to eat beef. Even though we are an Islamic republic. When you claim to be a secular country a lot of responsibility comes with it. You can not be hypocritical about it. If a Muslim wants to divorce his wife, what is the state.s business in it? These are a few examples and when you compare yourself to USA, UK and CANADA its kind of funny. The other day I was watching a documentary in which a Nigerian muslim immigrant had 2 wives and was planning to go for a 3rd. His wives were ok with it and I didn't see the state interfering in his personal life as its claimed by you.please give specifics to which laws you want to follow under Islam
if you practice polygamy you cannot immigrate to UK, USA or Canada
marriage under 18 is prohibited

prohibiting muslims from eating beef is not in tune with India's secular ethos.
marriage is not personal anymore. It is a civil issue. The division of property, insurance policy and medical decisions are a function of marriage. personal preference is irrelevant.
If you do immigrate to USA, UK and CANADA you cannot follow polygamy unless you want to lie about it
