Even after objection constant objection from India, US is adamant to sell F-16s to Pakistan Air Force as they demand productive planes for Counter Insurgency on AfPak border to defeat terrorists. US knows that Pakistan will use the planes to deploy against India. US can deliver Brazilian Embrarers which are effective counter insurgency specialized planes which are used for low level targeting, reconnaissance, escorting ground troops and intelligence gathering exactly what Pakistan is demanding F-16s for. Neverthless, they will get the deal. Indian still waiting for Rafeal deal to be finalized so meanwhile they have ordered another set of Sukhoi Su 30 MKIs from Russia to balance the fleets against Pakistan.

Let's have a look at which has a superiority in air and mid air dog fights if ever happens between Pakistan and Indian Air Forces.

So a single engine jet can have max speed of 1500mph, while the so called beast with two powerful engines are capable of pulling 1553mph. What does that make f-16 then ?
