F-35 is Liaoning's worst nightmare, says Global Times

Best way to prove the F-35's worth. Let Japan or the US sneak the F-35s into China's airspace & see if it survives. :D

If it survives the test, then good for you guys. :enjoy:

If not then the next please?!

Are we suppose to play fair? How many aircraft carriers did the U.S. bring to the fight against the Japanese during the battle of Midway?
Yes you are right but there is much more than just a carrier. Do u think a volley of F35 can go on with 6 AC and hit Liaoning and China will accept it as its fate? Or will run away like Japanese did? I do believe US will avoid at all cost any conflict with China esp with their only AC. So practically, F35 can never be a nightmare even no other plane. However, if u take it to all out war, US will surely win bcz of too much superior forces but have to loose much of its own eggs too!

Maybe. And i completely trust it's F117 wrecks ... America, Russia, China we all didn't stay, stealth & anti-stealth techs always developing.
Yeah...Only two aircrafts lost out of 30,000 sorties. No wonder gullible people like you have to cling on to that single F-117 lost by sheer luck. PLAAF generals wish their pilots and fighters are 1/10th as good as the Americans.

Maybe that already happened. Who can prove otherwise ?

An aircraft carrier is an important asset that the Chinese were so intent on getting one. Thats why in war it should be sunk. And with the aircraft carriers the U.S. Navy would go after Chinese naval bases and airbases as well. Anything that could threaten the U.S. and its allies. Aircraft carriers are precious of course thats why you provide as much protection as possible. But you still have to use them. The Chinese know it.

Best way to prove its worth is how much if anything is left alive on the enemy side.:-)

Are you kid or a mature person? you sound really foolish person...It is not only about ACs you are advising Aggression against a Country...do you know Chinese have weapons to sink US ACs, going after China bases inside their Region means nuclear trigger response thus US mainland would also come under attack under the pretext of primitive attack by US upon China.

Grow up and stop playing COD.

Is the F-35 operational yet? Perhaps it is, perhaps not. Then again, who knows if the F-35 did survive the test? Only the USAF & the PLAAF would know the real answer. :azn:

We feel the same way too. :enjoy:

Yes from US point of view it is correct but another friend gave more precise statement.

I sound like a foolish person? If China attacks Japan or invades Taiwan by foolishly firing missiles at it, you don't think the U.S. will attack China in retaliation? Are we going to let China do anything it can by using its aircraft carrier and aircraft from airbases to attack our allies with impunity? Do you know we have long range cruise missiles to sink Chinese aircraft carriers and attack their bases from long range? Maybe Japan should have nukes so that way China will not be foolish to invade Japanese owned islands. Same as Taiwan that could have nukes. Would China be foolish to fire conventional missiles that could lead to nuclear destruction by their own brothers? You need to stop playing whatever strategy game you playing now thinking China will win.

You sound way to logical. You need to give it up man. Just face it, Chinese capabilities are now at least 50 years ahead of ours. US doesn't stand a chance so I propose we surrender now and get it over with.

Thats not a precise statement. China's past actions are pushing Asian countries to our side. And I'm not kidding. Right now the Chinese and the Vietnamese are staring at each other over a Chinese owned oil rig going into disputed waters.

Vietnam tries to stop China rig deployment - Yahoo News

HANOI, Vietnam (AP) — A Vietnamese government official says Vietnamese navy and coast guard vessels are trying to prevent a Chinese oil rig from establishing a fixed position in a disputed part of the South China Sea and that vessels from the two countries have collided.

The official said no ammunition had been fired and there were no reports for injuries.

The standoff Wednesday close to the Paracel Islands raises the possibility of skirmishes in one of Asia's most volatile regions.

Earlier two foreign diplomats said Vietnam dispatched up to 29 ships to the area near the oil rig when it became aware of China's intentions on May 2.

If i summarize my point. US and China both will avoid direct conflicts at all costs. US had a bad experience in Korean war. US can do anything but wont do anything bcz of the possible retaliation from China.

That is what both sides want. I don't think there is an adversarial posture between the US and China in general, but the world's battlefields are littered with those who died because of miscalculations.

China will make a move in the next 10 years, and odds are it will be at a country that the US has a treaty or obligation to defend. China may calculate that when the time comes, the US wont risk all-out war with a nuclear power in order to fufil those obligations. They may end up being correct, but there is no way to know for certain.

On the other side, the US had no idea how China would ultimately react when we flew nuclear-capable bombers into their self-declared ADZ. Certainly our General(s) calculated that China would know it was only part of the chess-game and wouldn't escalate, but how could they know for sure?

Now you really sound foolish COD kid.

If thats all you going to do is resort to name calling and have no civilized argument to counter mine, we know who is really the kid.

China also had bad experience in the Korean war, same as in Taiwan when they fired missiles to influence the elections in 96 when they were suddenly intimidated by a pair of aircraft carriers. China won't do anything that could lead to retaliation by the U.S.
