What is this argument about ? I don't care if the Taiwanese or anyone else in China, Taiwan or Singapore wants to speak Min Na or any other language. Many parts of China have there own dialecte so whats the problem ? As for identity its a very personal issue and that's what you can expect after 65 years of seperation. Both China and Taiwan has their own history and develop their own unique culture over the past 65 years.

It seems to me that the Vietnamese is building the same economic model that China is trying to get away from. The problem is that the export led model that has helped asia to grow over the past 40 years is now coming to an end with the economic realities of Europe, Japan and America.
