Twitter's importance is due to the presence of influential people on it. Managing twitter requires the ability to manage politics, egos and being aware of the beast that you are controlling.

He has now called his engineers to share their code with him, which he will review personally. God knows what that will achieve. As the sole Director, his focus should be on what to make of Twitter, hand the task to his team and they will deliver. He is constantly on a collision course with non tech people.
