"Arab international Optical Company" has introduced its products of electro-optical / thermal devices for detection, vision and targeting .

Arab International Optronics Company (AIO) was established in 1982 by a partnership between the National Service Project of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense (51%) and Thales, the leading French defense company (49%). It is one of the region's leaders in detecting, monitoring, targeting with electro-optic / thermal vision, laser distance measurement, laser simulators and cameras used in the new Egyptian satellite MisrSat II. This is in addition to telescopes and field glasses, electronic display and video screens, laser land levelling devices, and energy saving LED lamps and systems.

The products shown in the pictures are produced domestically by the Arab company with a license from the various foreign companies as follows:

- The Matis HH long-range thermal imaging device, which is equipped with a laser-tachometer and a GPS satellite, is French-made by Sagem. It has a long-range monitoring capability against individuals (from 5.5 km) and tanks (from 9 km) (From 14 kilometers), helicopters (from 11 to 12 kilometers) and aircraft (from 15 to 16 kilometers).

No, you're right. Anti-terrorism is a huge focal point.
