What's new

Dying at 22 is too steep a price for being ‘the best’

Baji dolly needs to stay quiet ,she cant differentiate between a foot and hand ,and here she is criticizing our doc. Boo!!
It's due to not moving while in a stationary position. If you keep sitting for a very long time without moving, blood pools in your lower body and eventually clots. Then that clot breaks and goes to your lungs and causes an embolism that can lead to death.

If you are traveling for long duration like 20 hour flight, is a good idea to get special socks to prevent this.
Oh thanx for sharing. But dunno doesnt sound like this reason. But then idont know.

The story, potentially powerful as it might be, can mean anything until and unless the cause of death is made known.

Not everybody can take the almost inhuman pressure of the rat race.

That is why you can only lead, follow, or get out of the way. :D

He deserved to live longer and lead a better life.

Doesn't everyone? What is a "better" life"? That is a hard question to answer, and we all strive to seek the answer for ourselves, in our own ways. Some find it, some don't.

I don't remember exactly, but I remember the word aneurysm.
It happened one fine day and then she had to undergo a surgery, which was not successful. She went into coma and was gone a week later.

i don't know how my time will come. :)

you know, after what you wrote above, it will be strange to write on about the boy's death, but i will... you must allow me. :)

Come on!
He was just 22.

22 was also me once, but me went in the opposite direction... 22 were also many of the "occupy wall street" people who agitated four years ago and i think still, in the new york area which has headquarters of companies like of this deceased youth.

farmer gajendra singh died in delhi because of the situations created by people like this dead youth.

youth energy should be utilized for betterment of humanity and not to help spread the illogical system of money.

you know, western morality dictates that 18 is the age when one turns "adult" and the "consequent explosion of maturity, intellect and seriousness"... a falsity, proved yet again by what this 22-year-old was doing.

for him, it was a job and origin of excitement... for others, it was misery.

You may be the best gladiator in Rome, but at the end of the day you are still a slave.

yes, he was a minute cog in a vast wheel.

After reading this, i need to work less.

Me too

And you wanted finance and investment Banking....

My younger brother started his career with Credit Suisse and then Barclays in NY as investment banker........i always ask him if working conditions like these are true.....it is more like a 8am to 10 pm job....money is good but then life sucks. However, i guess this guy took impressing or *** kissing his bosses too seriously.....in the race to get promoted soon......he didn't realize that at just 22 you still got tons of years to get experience and move on.

I agree with you itna bhi serious nahi hona chaiye 20s are neabt to work hard but also to enjoy & kissikissingrequires a lot of patince

Yes, he could have chosen a path where he did not have to turn himself into a corporate slave. Isn't it sad how these corporates pressurise us to invest the best period of our life churning money for 'em? :(

indeed... the owners go sailing on yacht-cum-submarine while the underlings run about building the monies... he really could have turned out different, had he just questioned even once - i missed out on saying that, thanks.
