Dossiers on Indian sponsored terror in Pakistan handed over to UN: Sartaj Aziz

I'm laughing at Indians here. 2-3 years back when average joe on Pakistani street used to accuse India, We were termed as conspiracy theorist nuts. Indians used to chant GoP should present proves in UN. Now when Pakistan did it, the amount of skepticism and apologetic stance by Indians are astounding. Hypocrisy at its finest by Indians on this thread and in general.

It is good to see Pakistan finally admitting officially India is sponsoring TTP through NDS in FATA. A slap on those who see TTP islamic movement with homegrown funds !

Is this any different from the attitude shown by Pakistanis towards dossiers by India to both GOP and other International audience. The amount of derision towards India's helplessness was completely on display here on PDF.

It would be slap when we see various people or International bodies start echoing this view, good that GOP is taking some steps towards counter propaganda but these are just early days. Let us wait for future to see what it holds. Diplomacy is a continuous process cant be done in start stop mode.

.
Instead of Handing Over Dossier to UN, Pakistan can show its sincerity in fighting Terrorism by handing over Dawood to India.

Hmmm.. :D....so taking pride at India's helplessness in doing a U.S. Osama like operation inside Pakistan.

Do keep on harboring Dawood, Lakhvi Saeed if It serves your Policies.

In fact keep showing Mr. Hafiz Saeed Interviews on National TV on daily basis. It will boost Pakistan's soft image Internationally :D

Please merge all these threads into one..so many threads on the same topic..

anyway, lets wait and see what is "World's Response"..I'd not be surprised if UN totally ignores "Pakistan's Dossier" and rather tells Pakistan to handover UNSC 1267 listed terrorists who are living in Pakistan.

your thoughts on the dossier being handed over? assumptions of it being non existent and fake have been put to rest.

I don't think there is much mileage in the "dossiers". There are no specific persons indicted, nor any categorical evidence like comms, networks, actual perpetrators like what pakistan has going for it...an international terror network with lots of countries pointing towards pakistan based groups. Plenty of pakistan based terror groups and individuals have been sanctioned by UN and US. Where clear evidence points out to how the terror networks in pakistan operate.

While all of the so called "evidence" against India that one reads on pakistani media seem planted or beaten out from a few pakistani citizens themselves. Such "evidences" will straightaway go into the dustbin, because there's no cross referencing by any third party or country, which is not the case with references to terrorism emanating out of pakistani soil, saeed, Mohd Hafiz, Dawood, Osama, mullah omae..taliban, al qaeda, Lashkar e toiba, Jundulla etc..the list goes on.

A couple of videos and a whole lot of rhetoric and assumptions will not cut it.

@Bang Galore your thoughts on the dossier being handed over? assumptions of it being non existent and fake have been put to rest.

It being existent in as much as Pakistan would put something forward was a foregone conclusion, it being a fake is matter of opinion & one on which you & I are likely to veer towards opposite sides. My point when I discussed with you was the reluctance by your PM to touch that issue with any great alacrity when so much brouhaha had been done over the last few weeks.

Funnily, if Pakistan had such serious issues on terror with India, why on earth were they so reluctant to discuss terror through talks? Pakistani allegation has always been that terror was the Indian agenda (usually saying that it's an Indian bogey) while Kashmir was their issue, if you have something real, why not come & discuss it instead of running away?

Btw, with reference to our discussion yesterday, here is the relevant text of the Ufa statement:

"They also agreed on the following steps to be taken by the two sides:

1. A meeting in New Delhi between the two NSAs to discuss all issues connected to terrorism.

2. Early meetings of DG BSF and DG Pakistan Rangers followed by that of DGMOs.

........."

Most probably UN to give a reply in one phrase after careful examination of your dossier " You reap what you sow" ...
If Pakistan insists upon the dossier evidence then UN might grant same stature of hafiz Saeed of Pakistan to the so called terrorists named in dossier.....
Next would be UN might declare few good terrorists for the world except one country .....

. .
you gave same dossiers to Britain too, what happened?:pop:
The Brits lit a bonfire with them during Christmas!

you are correct in us veering off on discussion of dossiers validity.

However, you quoted something from the UFA decleration but you missed out the inital line. so i am posting it here for you

The Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India met today on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Ufa. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere. The two leaders exchanged views on issues of bilateral and regional interest.

They agreed that India and Pakistan have a collective responsibility to ensure peace and promote development. To do so, they are prepared to discuss all outstanding issues.

it is one of the indian links.

So yes we would have disccused terrorism SPONSORED by India

BUT

we wouldhave wished to discuss Kashmir too and meet Huriyat.

To this india wanted to put conditons too which was not acceptable.

so the whole NSA meeting got derailed when india said discuss terrorism BUT leave out Kashmir

you mentioned a couple of videos apparently Kasaba also made a video confession didn't he?

as for Hafiz and all US did issue a bounty on his head but failed to provide any proof for Pakistan government to tryand prosecute him.

The indian dossiers were "weak" and hence no arrest warrants through interpol or trials could take place.

we had demanded the indians to allow us access to Kasab and all so called evidence so we could validate its authenticity but the indians denied access.

So failure to act on "alleged" evidence came to a stand still once india failed to let us validate the authenticity of the so called proof
