I am familar with self hating Serbs, Jews, Russians, Turks, but is there self hating Pakistanis, or to be more precise, Pakistani liberals who blame Pakistani culture and religion for bad condition of Pakistan society and economy?

But then there is a difference between self hating and self criticism.

Look into the 'ABCD' catagory and you will find plenty of self loathing specimen.

Btw, ABCD stands for America/Angrez Born Confused Desi.

You want to say ABCD American Born Confused Desi and BBCD British born confuse Desi.
Most of these guys are confused between which culture to adopt. They may have some self haters but not a lot.
The first generation which migrates can be very critical and for good reason. They see from a distance and the failure points of their homeland and the positives of others. When they express some of this nobody accepts it. So basically the compassion and wish to improve things comes off as self hating.
The difference is positive people want to improve things and negative give up.
Back home some people take the constructive criticism in good spirit others don’t. It is a matter of presenting and accepting.
Their is a category on both side which are compulsive haters and they will find a reason everywhere and in every situation.
