Currently , Pakistan has M110 , M109 (A2 , A4 & A5) , Norinco SH-1 & M 7 Priest self propelled artillery only.

Also , Pakistan is said to be a Potential operator of Chinese PLZ-05 .. Does Army have any new plan for procuring new SP howitzers ??

Is Pakistan producing it under license from Turkey ?

India purchased the M777 light Howitzer most probably for use in LoC Kashmir, so my question what Howitzer is Pakistan likely to use as a replacement for the 130mm in that region.

India has ordered 145 M777 ultra lite howitzers for deployment on the Chinese border in Ladakh, Arunachal , Sikkim and Uttarakhand..

In 2009, Defense News Stated That

The main acquisitions are at least 297 M-109A5 155mm self-propelled howitzers that have been supplied since 2007 under a $56 million deal made in 2006, and local production of the Turkish MKEK Panter towed 155mm howitzers, by Heavy Industries Taxila's Heavy Mechanical Complex, after 12 were delivered for evaluation in 2007.

US has delivered us only 115 M109A5 howitzers .. What happened to the rest 182 ????????????

PLZ-45 is said to be expensive..One more concern is the limitation of using foreign military GPS signal .......

PLZ-05 may be a better option instead ... ....

Still being delivered. And as relations are getting better, we will go for more.

Why on earth Pakistan didn't ordered this one ? PLZ-45 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Because at the moment we got M-109A5 is coming, along with Panter, 300mm MLRS, new Arty target radars, and PLA-wheeled guns.
