Does Pak Army has a sniper unit?? If no then is there any need of it?

I think the role of sniper is there but with the current situation more dedicated or designated marksmen are needed at platoon level which from seem many of the multimedia posted is evident enough to say their number are being boosted.

I think the role of sniper is there but with the current situation more dedicated or designated marksmen are needed at platoon level which from seem many of the multimedia posted is evident enough to say their number are being boosted.

I think there should be a sniper unit in pak army coz sniper can be very deadliest weapon on the battlefield and also in counter terrorism operations..

After looking at the first couple of responses----I am not surprised that no one has told you yet----you need to start the discussion and---.

The title of your post is extremely stupid and worthless---you should have been discussing the tactics deployed by the snipers and what their training and weapons systems are----but you want to talk about if there is a sniper program----and if there is a need for it.

Some of our MODS have taken this board to a NEW LOW by not taking down posts like these.

What century you are living in kid---. Millitary snipers have been in existence since the invention of a long barrel firearm----regardless of any army and time frame.
