actually no..Russia lost both Winter war as well as Continuation War..they pushed few hundreds km,derstoyed few assault guns,killed few thousand soldiers,but Finland ultimately kicked them out..the hostilities ended in stalemate when both country signed Moscow Armistice..but later times,as a victor of WW2,Russia got one territory,leased one and got paid..

now,as Japan-USSR war,that wasn't a sanctioned war..but yes,Japan's *** got kicked..they could've picked a better timing to open a second front against USSR,when they were busy against Germany,but another poor planing..also,it was unsanctioned from highest command,they acted on their own.

More specifically speaking, South Korea's domestic market rely on China and South Korea's national defense is handed over to US.
