I think Ex Interior Minister Aitzaz Ahsan clear the allegation many time in different interviews and forums, that he provided the list. Hoax spread by PMLn during election season in 90s.

You gave a long rant about what happened 30 years ago. Lot of water has passed. And lot of Kashmiri women have been raped/ When is the same genius that destroyed might Soviets is going to be used to free Kashmir.

Destroying Soviets was fcuk all good for Pakistan. All it did was unleashed America and gave freedom to goa Poles, Latvians, Slovaks etc. What good is their azadi to Kashmir or Pakistan?

Yes, right after creation of Pakistan Jatt regiment convert into Punjab Regiment of Pakistan. Plus these muslim soldiers of Pakistan were allowed by Quaid e azam to serve in Indonesia freedom movement from Dutch.

As regards 33rd Punjab:

In 1921–22, a major reorganization was undertaken in the British Indian Army leading to the formation of large infantry groups of four to six battalions. Among these was the 16th Punjab Regiment, formed by grouping the 33rd Punjabis with the 30th, 31st and 46th Punjabis, and the 9th Bhopal Infantry. The battalion's new designation was 3rd Battalion 16th Punjab Regiment. During the Second World War, the battalion fought in the Malayan Campaign and was taken prisoner by the Japanese on Singapore Islandfollowing the British surrender on 15 February 1942. It was re-raised in 1946.

My thoughts Pakistan did not cash them well.. pakistan should have remind these 15 countries plus Germany that our support was as important as US support in thos event of fall of USSR. Infact pakistan has given blood for their freedom along with Afghans.. as we All know USA is ungrateful as always.. we should remind them as well as they remind us that they has given us billions dollars.. friends let me know if our foreign foreign policy makers know these facts.. if they ever try to use these facts to develop relations to these new countries.

When you say in the Title, "Do we Know...".....how does it matter when any of these 15 countries does not know we did it? No matter how much loud we keep playing our own trumpet, till others recognise it...it's a wasted effort.

I think we already satel this in earlier posts... around 10 years war and man power for that war then routes to Battlefield training . Can you win war with out land connections to battlefield how you can fight with out supplies .. we were riding force in all event your people died in that war.. answer with facts...

If zia was there more two years....today story could have been different about Kashmir..look in 1965 war io Kashmiris did not help pakistan like Bengali did help india.. kashmiris started moving to wards Pakistan after 90 events. They started relising Pakistan can fight for pak is strong enough to fight a war for them... why they think like that because our lost in 1971 created so many doubt in their minds...rather we can defend them or not.. everyone wants to stay with powerful. No one wants to be losing side...winning war in Afghanistan gave pakistan confidence bost....but again we got stupid leaders afterwords..nawaz n butoos n zaradi were not as smart as international requirements
