I am actually a descendant of Central Asian Muslims who settled in Kashmir, and then moved to Sialkot.
As you know, Muslims didn't convert by force, or else we would not find a Hindu majority in India today.

First conquests were in 711 CE. From that time till the heyday of the British Raj is about 1,000 years.

They were soundly beaten and they retreated.The real islamic rule started with Md.Ghauri defeating Chauhan in 1192.By the early 1700s Marathas were ruling on more territory than Mughals.And then there were sikhs ofcourse...

No, that doesn't follow. Conversion was a gradual process, precisely because of the lack of forced conversion. Syria remained mostly Christian right until three centuries after the rise of Islam, because of the lack of forced conversion.

Would have been ... but for continuous resistance, Hanafi fiqh, Hindu revival movements and powerful Hindu kingdoms. Even then Hindus don't comprise a simple majority in the subcontinent.

if you are taking about the mughal ruling time it was quit known that mughal kings force hindus to convert to musilims... if they resist to do that then they were executed....

How do you define "real Islamic rule"? Sindh was ruled by both Umayyads and Abbasids before 1192.

I don't believe that, as it would be contrary to Islamic law, which afforded Hindus the status of "dhimmi".
One reason for their lengthy rule was that they didn't resort to forced conversion.

Some how true most of them belive its a foreighn religion of barbaric attackers and with recent terrorist attacks in india and other countries increased their hatred for the fundamentalist islamic people but lot of hindus pray sufi sanths ,pirs as gods.
