No, re-positioning the radar system, and decreasing size makes a difference. It is true that the changeover from PESA to AESA consumes much more power and leads to bulking up, but within AESA sets, there have been weight reductions.

Its radar has similar range of F-22/F15 radars 200/250 km and with improved electronic it can detect/track same or more targets than F-22/F15

This is a bad design from the start.

I would say that Su-57 is a very interesting product in its own right, but a victim of utterly misleading marketing campaign (Russian fault). If Russian objective was to respond to American 5th generation designs, Su-57 is not the correct answer and will not deliver in this context.

Russia is yet to demonstrate a true 5th generation design per American standards. Even F-15SE Silent Eagle prototype is/was better than Su-57 and Boeing didn't had to work much hard to develop one.
