DF-31B China's newest ICBM

This should be China latest mobile ICBM, the DF-31B, tested for the first time in september 2014. From the name we learn thatt it's the improved variant of the DF-31A. As you can see the most obvious improvement is the TEL , which is the same used by the DF-41. DF-31A weakness was the limited off-road mobility of the truck.
Note that this picture above is not the latest (it was taken in road testing, mayb yeare 2013), in fact a more recent one appeared on august 2014, and it is fully developed as you can see. (more pics here: China test fires Dongfeng-31B Missile with a range of 10,000km.)

Now China has TWO mobile MIRVed ICBMs, nobody will dare provoke us or call us weak...unless want to be wiped out form the earth.

They will keep reading those US reports that suggest China only has 24 ICBMs in order to make themselves feel better.

Mostly more than Mach 25, since all the modern day ICBMs are about that speed.

This is the common standard of today.

During the outer atmospheric trajectory, all modern day ICBMs can travel between Mach 20 to Mach 25.

The DF-41 can travel about Mach 25, and this is no secret.

Patriot missiles can only intercept up to Mach 4.

As far as I know, the Patriot can only intercept dumb ballistic warheads and not a MARV.

Patriot missiles can only intercept up to Mach 4.

The WU-14 can reach Mach 10 or more, but it is harder to be intercepted than the normal ICBM because of its unpredictable trajectory.
