Now coming back to the topic, Modi is "technically" a Kshatriya since he is the PM of India, not a Shudra.

But his caste is Ghachi.

In India "caste" is another term for "Jaathi" NOT Varna.

economically: 2/10 (considering his mother's maid "fact")

Ghanchi was given OBC status in Gujarat in 1994, based on social realities in Gujarat.

Every community in the OBC or SC / ST class has a history of trying to get themselves the fruits of positive discrimination policy. Starting with Ambedkar. This is not anything "special" to Teli.
