The Indian influence on Pakistan have always been more than Pakistani influence on India, the biggest example being Bollywood but in recent years with Republic TV, Gaurav Arya blah blah, surely the fixation on Pakistan have increased manifolds.

Just an observation.. No judgments here, apparently this series is way more popular in Pakistan than in Turkey itself, Perhaps Turks realize it's quasi fiction rather than historically factual

On topic I am midway to the series and it resembles our customs too if you remove all talk of jihad and kill idolaters etc.
