A lot of pro democracy advocate always talks about accountability. China already sacked thousands of officials due to Covid. Death toll in United States is now over 800,000. How many have been sacked in United States?

  • Wang Bin and Cui Shiyue – senior figures in the city’s worst-hit district – were removed from their posts to ‘strengthen’ the battle
  • It comes as locked down residents have complained of food shortages, and as the number of local infections are going down

Honestly that is ridiculous. Now all of the officials are going to use extreme measures just because they are afraid they might slip up a little bit.

Western countries accountability is that the officials will find another position in private companies which benefited from his administration.

Perhaps its too early to judge. What are the alternatives ? Is there a country that has a proven alternative ?

Like parading people through the streets
Hmmm... should we be seeing Xi and his entourage for letting the virus get out of China in the first place and not informing WHO when they knew they were dealing with a new virus.

We Chinese actually quite tolerate extreme measures since they are applied to the enemy of the people and for the public good.
