Comparing the Transit System in Tanzania with that of Karachi

they aint of karachiietes...bro chawal toh na maro!

What should i say? That people who had administrative experience were sidled out 30 years ago when stakeholders had an exploitative system in place?

Should I say that your elders failed in understanding importance of nepotism when they married merit?

People abandon cities. Cities don't abandon people.

I was 14 when I visited Mwanza and Dar es salaam on my school holidays. I am a doddering old man now but I do not recognise any of this.
IT HAS CHANGED. Looks fantastic. When I visited it was hot and Humid. People meandered slowly down streets with very few cars. Many roads were just red earth, only a few were tarmacked. Houses were nearly all one story high with peeling part painted surfaces.
People were kind and generous and as a young socialist was in awe of Julius Nyerere. While most eulogised Kenya and its capitalism, we dreamed of a socialist paradise through workers and peasants revolution .
Pre-partition sub continent migrants are the backbone of some African countries, especially Darus salam, Tanzania.

It ********

It's really weird you saying that regarding KPK when most of the military operations occured in KPK, most of the suicide bomb blasts, most of the terrorists attacks happened in KPK (all thanks to terrorism and TTP which many blame army and establishment for nurturing just like you are blaming them for something else.)

Open borders with Afghanistan destroyed local economy, smuggling made sure we are always short of food items and in excess of weapons, drugs etc. The Influx of millions of afghans (which Sindh lately refused to host and pushed them back to KPK) literally destroyed the social balance of our society. Still you will claim it's somehow the "home of establishment along Punjab".

Same was situation of Peshawar so what we did ??? We built BRT. In provincial capacity. What is stopping Karachi from doing the same ? If KP govt can take loan for such a project than why not Karachi ?

Not even once will you appreciate the resilience of people of KP and their committment to their land and province. If KPK police is friendly it's because a common Pathan from KPK is a friendly person. You guys keep discarding the plus points that we have over people and society of Sindh. We are society where no one consider no one as the single authority and maai baap. We don't care for waderas and hence certainly won't be ruled by them.

For once, just think about these two societies (KPK Vs Sindh) and than make a conclusion.

P.s : I always admired Karachi and wanted to visit and spend atleast a month there as well as Quetta. But from the experience here with Karachiities, I think you guys are good for nothing but hasad and crying.any strikes happens here in KP because people know their rights and want authorities to provide those, doctors, teachers strike to increase salaries and for demanding improvement in hospital facilities. Citizens block roads when loadshedding is in excess. I haven't heard of any such strike or road block in recent tes in Karachi.

Dude...Don't misinterpret me

Have nothing against Pashtuns (The only community apart from mine not enslaved to waderas)

You and us have quite in common....Both were victims of politics.

You guys have best air on those mountains.

I am enrolled in a job where I communicate with all of Pakistan.

Karachiites aren't racists.....

I said What I felt regarding establishment....not pointed to anyone else.

Do visit Karachi...You'll befriend us quickly.

My people are divided as of now but that doesn't mean we raised a voice....

Parveen Rehman, an activist from Karachi was after tanker mafia and she was shot dead then.

Go to karachi social media...people are onto themselves are trying in personal capacity to improve things.

Peace.

Everything you said was good except the last para. There is no jealousy trust me but unequality in the land of pure. We karachiites have no say, whole police department and bearucracy of karachi have people from outside of karachi and they are ruling us like kings except of some department like water board and baldiya. There is not much difference between ruling under British or under indians or under outsiders. They all treated us like same. Pushtuns are great people and there is no doubt. KPK faces lots of terrorism and still they are strong thanks to pushtuns themselves only but state of Pakistan is a joke.

Actually it's not the first time I am replying members from Karachi over draging KPK in discussions related to Karachi. I have discussed this issue with members like @PaklovesTurkiye and @newb3e multiple times. I have told them multiple times that keep KPK away from topics related to Karachi. I have even invited them to comer here and demonstrate Infront of GHQ (@as they keep refering to " the one behind PPP" ). No person can resist himself this many times from saying anything hurtful. Still I apologise to prove of Karachi. And I suggest 7 days shutter down of whole Karachi and see if something concrete came out of it or not . The thing I observed is that people of Karachi have lost all hopes and don't want to do anything about bad administration.

Launched in the Year 2016 Full 6 Years ago let us marvel at the Streets of Africa , Karachi sure look dump compared to the clean cities of Tanzania, Enjoy

In Past I used to always give example of Japan who have a absolutely efficient Transport system however it seems even many countries in Africa are now ahead of Pakistan in term of Transport

tanzania-africa-map.jpg

Hats off to the Administration in Tanzania , who have build a functional Transit system in Africa , generally people always imagined that Africa was behind Asia in term of clean streets and clean cities

However viewing images from Africa , certainly shows Africa as a whole is progressing and looks alot cleaner then Karachi

Also recommended that people view the images it gives us perspective , how unsanitary the streets are in Mega Cities in Pakistan

May be PPP / Sindh government will now cry they need a Loan from Foreign Bank , so they can do a feasibility study for 3 years before they will conclude their can't do their own Jobs

General Knowledge Fact:
Tanzania is not a Developed country , nor it has Oil but the warmth of the people and clean city is amazing
Tanzania it has, according to UNESCO, an adult literacy rate of 77.89%. While the male literacy rate is 83.2%, for females is 73.09%,

WOW,
I had a Tanzanian friend, although lost touched years ago as he moved back. I never realised Tanzania is so beautiful, all you hear is bad news. Certainly worth a visit.
I think Kenya is doing worse, I have personal experiences regarding Kenya through a friend, but Tanzania gets the bad wrap as well for being in East africa.
I'm impressed.

It's a jungla bus as great leader said. Nations are not made through infrastructure, he said. He wishes to bring back the date to year 1 so he can stamp his holy mark on this hapless nation. We are well on the way PTI zindabad
