Civil-military leadership keen on testing JF-17 Thunder in Yemen

Hi,

By all means, It was your pathetic statement and ill-informed knowledge about the reality which was de-railing the thread.

People like him remind us that we need to win this war ..

what type of A2G weapons would the JF-17 use?

JF-17 used on the international stage and proves it's worth would no doubt garner some orders in the ME,Africa, and Latin America.

I guess that's the Plan

Like all threads this thread is being derailed with 'India','LCA','I love taliban', etc etc. Shoqeen hain sab kay sab -_-

IF this news is true (a rather big if), then the Saudis are offering to buy a squadron or something of the JF-17 EVEN THOUGH they don't need it as a bribe to the Pakistanis for their military support. This was the point I had tried to make many pages ago.

It is in best interest for any nation to let some decisions to be taken by head of the state or suprem Prime Minister by the grace of ALLAH We have the best team working for Pakistan since last 35 years.. and once the decision is taken respected nations stand behind the decision... here perhaps folks have too much time in their hands no1 will take your opinion into any consideration..

Unless you know more abt JF-17 program that the AVM who is the director of the programe .. I suggest you shut up.

The Saudis will be more interested in Pakistani ground forces than anything else.
They have plenty of fighter jets themselves, although their will be a need for specialists ( be that ground crews or pilots) from Pakistan.

From a Pakistani perspective we cannot say a blunt no to the Saudis. And it's not just because of Nawaz's business interests. It's because of the millions of Pakistanis working there and the remittanceso that so many Pakistani families depends on.

hate as in?? there is already a conflict going on and lot of countries are involved...it is not as if Pakistan is going to turn the table head on...however in turn it would be good combat practice for your fighters as well the plane...no??

No. We cannot afford to have innocent Yemeni's getting killed in air strikes conducted by the Pak air force. This is already the case with Saudi air strikes. It will make the Yemeni's very hostile towards Pakistan. Pakistan can only fulfil a mediation role. Pakistan won't be conducting military operations.

Yemenis are going to get killed, not because of PAF but because of the war that was triggered by the Houthis expansionism.
And Pakistan cannot decline a Saudi request because of our dependence on Saudi oil and dollars.
The best Pakistan can and should do is to negotiate for a good price.
The situation is the same as with uncle Sam after 9/11, "you are either with us or against us" and if choose to be against there is a price to pay, a price that Pakistan realistically cannot afford to pay
