Chinese Type 52C, "fragile like tofu" according to Chinese bloggers

. .
If anything this seems like poor window design that can be fixed by $500. Says nothing about 800m ship.

.
Damage Control and ship design are both important and can't easily learn from others. USA, Japan and UK got those knowlage also for some cost.
I'm not sure the Damage Control part, hope they have improved it.
The ship design part is changing for sure.
Type 052C just like you have seen.
This is Type 052D, the same windows are open towards outside and change to water proof door.

Standard response from standard Chinese member.
It follows the innovation principle, someway explain why China must give out new design every 5 years.

For Damage control, we have some exercises with US personnel

3. There only problem in my eyes, they should wear Helmet / Gloves / Fire Mask to protect soldiers first before executing 'Damage Control' mission. This called 'Profession' ... PLAN has a long time to study U.S Navy !!! :enjoy:

4. What China should learn from this case ? To establish the safety 'Damage Control' process, and improve crew's 'Damage Control' skills & awareness.(Next time remember to wear safety equipments)

If want to troll or anti certain country, u bette find a better reason and aricle. Now is year 2015, don't keep doing the same type of thing and expect different result.

.
That means Vietnam does not need to spend a dime in their military. Now they can allocate the military budget to social programs that are very much lacking in Vietnam.

You want to put Vietnam element to this, It's ok.
We have a reason to contribute more on this.

Rephrased: are you suggesting it is another ship type?
Towed array are 0:10?
If it is not 052C what is it according to you?
