Olympic spirit is for losers, winners are grinners. I'm happy we did everything to make sure we win gold. No one cares about Olympic spirit after 4 years. only gold medal bragging rights to show who is the sports giant.

I guess that could include doping of athletes, bribery to officials, threats to other players...

then you must not of heard much at all... but i guess anything non chinese will fall on deaf ears to you.

there is always talk about per capita in regards to sports... you see, the more people there is, the greater the diversity, which means people have more chance of getting better because there is a lot more competition.

this is why australia is soo highly regarded in regards to swimming and cycling and rowing etc... for such a small population, we have MANY people who are among the best in the world.... we also field a very sizable olympic squad

jamaica or kenya?? wth... kenya has a population of 42 million people and have very few people right up there in medal contention..... jamaica has a small population, but again they get very few medals too, and they are only really good at running

It would not have mattered, because if we won that match, both Chinese teams would have to play in semis, we tried to get on the opposite side of draw, but got expelled. Won't make a difference.
