It's unusual to find this particular combination of love/hatred in an average Frenchman of European descent, and is far more common in people of Indian descent. They have similar image among Russians, Europeans and for that matter most of the world.. North Korea and Pakistan are the only two places where despite all the issues, their image is positive and probably will remain positive for ever..

Americans, Europeans & Russians who have killed thousands directly or their indirect support having led to thousands killed, have a good impression or image, while China which is making counterfeit products has a bad image.
