American military thinks too much of Chinese counterfeiting and spying.

Fact of the matter is, China has gained very little for all its efforts in spying. The effort would be better spent in developing its own internal technical resources.

Ironically, I believe that the more technologies that China is embargoed from the rest of the world, the better off it will be. It's precisely the reason that China has been the target of Western Embargo for the better part of 30 years that it's able to build many technologies from the ground up, military or otherwise. China has a tremendously diversified and self-sufficient industrial base because of the embargo. Afterall, necessity is the mother of invention.

China is perfectly capable of developing its own technology with its internal resources. A highly intelligent and hardworking population is one of the biggest strengths of China. You can't prevent intelligent people from gaining technology. it simply does not work.

And the embargo has done nothing good to china.
Japan has never been embargoed after WWII，and still have a diversified industry.
It's about culture and national policy，nothing to do with the embargo.

uh. you might be slightly confused. I think Counterfeiting is indeed wrong, but it's a natural step for nations to take as they step up the value chain. Hyundai got its name because Koreans thought it was similar to Honda, so people might confuse it for a Japanese car. It's unfortunate, and it's wrong.

That said, It's a necessary step in the grand scheme of Chinese industrialization. I think China is almost past that step, and in fact counterfeiting is bad for Chinese industry now. It focuses the industry on short term profits and destroys innovation.

So actually, I welcome your efforts in exposing Chinese counterfeiters. The sooner they go out of business, the sooner we can go back to establishing a strong economic base based on innovation.

On topic: Corruption is in every country and really the reason it is so less in ours is because , I believe it is what my dad used to say to me " it's in their blood", in their " character" , it's their moral fortitude... But in your case and honestly we have seen this before too- its the Chinese govt is covering up for the corruption. How do you expect to get over this when you have a closed press and a govt covering up corruption. something has to give for it to have chance to improve. I believe it free press because only they can provide that check and balance... think about it, politicians will never give up the greed unless they are shamed or risk being outed by the press.

If a Pakistani like you who preaches great advice for people in pakistan to stand up against the west and its culture - yet can go reside in similar culture , why can't he ask about visiting India?

Don't think that's reason enough for accusing him of being a false flagger; for instance even though I like Western products, their tech & innovation, I don't like their culture(far too open) & the hypocrisy when it comes to conflicts & wars ! I don't like the stand of IND on J&K as I think if the folks up north want a separate state then let it be as a conflict free zone is in everyone's interest however P0K & the part under CN control should also be included for there to be an independent state of K@$hmir, so does that make me a false flagger ?
